Naruto X Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connection is the next entry in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series by Bandai Namco and Cyberconnect 2, acting as a special anniversary game celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime. The game is essentially acting as a recut of the first four games with additional content. A brand new story, exclusive to this game, is also available, in addition to having the largest playable roster in the series to date. It released on November 17, 2023.
Its predecessor, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, released in 2016.

- Badass Family: Promotional material confirmed the addition of new ultimate team attacks starring the Uzumaki and Uchiha families respectively.
- The Bus Came Back: Toneri Ĺtsutsuki, who has not been relevant since the film The Last: Naruto the Movie, plays a prominent role in the story mode.
- Compilation Re-release: What the game essentially is. In addition to graphical overhauls, allowing for 60 FPS accross the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, the Story Mode has been overhauled to be a combination of all 4 mainline games.
- It will also add a brand new additional storyline starring Boruto, and even more characters beyond the already massive roster of Storm 4, the first announced being the progenitors of the Senju and Uchiha clans, Asura and Indra Otsutsuki.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Nanashi, the guide for the Ninja Heroes game, has actually gone through quite a bit despite her seemingly inconsequential role. Turns out she is actually Nanashi Uchiha, who was raised solely to be a living weapon ever since her Mangekyo Sharingan awakened with its extremely overpowered Yachihoko ability. She had no family, no friends, and no home, only her so-called "duty" to fight for the clan. And the game does not sugarcoat it; every single Uchiha involved is actively portrayed as a complete and utter asshole that straight up bullies her into subservience. No wonder she ended up as an angsty hater of all things ninja.
- Dream Match Game: The game has all previous characters from Storm 4. This means every character that has ever been playable since the beginning of the series, including Mecha Naruto from Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, and with the sole exception of Lars Alexandersson, who was a Guest Fighter in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. In addition to that, it will include new characters like Asura, Indra, Kawaki, and Jigen.
- Original Generation: Promotional images display Boruto facing a crimson Complete Body Susanoo, a color that has never once shown up in the anime or any other colored material, suggesting a new wielder of the Mangekyo Sharingan. Later trailers confirm this with at least two brand-new characters, Nanashi and Merz.
