The year is 19XX. The world has been lost to a demon apocalypse, the remnants of this devastation staining the landscape and leaving mere dozens of people alive. The wastes are harsh, and camaraderie is hard to come by. You play as Del, a bruiser who patrols the wastes in her truck. She's hardened by this dead world, but something softer lies beneath her violent exterior.
The world has ended once before, and there are those who aim to end it again. The demon summoned to embark this second apocalypse is only a child, and the woman who has lost it all resolves to save her. A half-hour long narrative game with survival gameplay elements and two endings.

This game contains examples of:
- After the End: The Apocalypse has already happened, the plot hinges on whether or not the demons finish the job.
- Apocalypse Cult: One has arisen, the central belief seems to be using an Apocalypse Maiden to undo the first Apocalypse by starting a second.
- Apocalypse Maiden: Barrett is a demon child known as the World Eater summoned by an Apocalypse Cult to cause The End of the World as We Know It but has the heart of a nice and innocent Cheerful Child. The hippies you find midway are the "nip it in the bud" antagonists and the villains want her to fulfill her destiny. Del is the main character who protects her.
- Cheerful Child / Children Are Innocent: Barrett. Del is surprised that a demon can be so cute and innocent, though because she's a demon, several characters interpret her as a Creepy Child.
- "It" Is Dehumanizing: The cult refers to Barrett as "it" and locked her in a cage like an animal upon summoning her.
- Parental Substitute: Del for Barrett. It's clear they love each other.
- Person of Mass Destruction: Barrett can cause earthquakes with her mind and is implied to be a Planet Eater.
- Planet Eater: Barrett is known as the World Eater. Whether the moniker is literal or not isn't shown, but she is fated to destroy the world.
- Red Baron: Barrett is "The Promised One" and the "World Eater".
- Tragic Monster: In the Bad Ending, it's heavily implied Barrett will grow up to be this now that she's fallen into the cult's clutches.
- World Half Full: The setting is a Cosmic Horror Story Crapsack World, but the good ending is a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming and implies the second apocalypse can in fact be averted.
