One day, a mysterious digital entity known as a Digimon takes up residence in your smartphone. You chat with this Digimon, named Pusurimon, over the following days and quickly become friends, but all is not well. As you ride home on the train one evening, you are pulled into a strange digital dimension and attacked by menacing wireframe figures. To your shock, Pusurimon materializes from your phone and fights to defend you from these Spirals, rapidly evolving into Herissmon. You are now a Digimon Tamer and Herissmon is your partner.
Digimon ReArise was a Digimon Mobile Phone Game released in Japan on June 2018 and globally on October 2019. Like most of the Digimon mobile games, it has no connection to any preexisting anime or game. Digimon ReArise was a turn-based RPG that focuses on building a party of up to five Digimon summoned using a gacha system.
Worldwide service for Digimon ReArise was discontinued on April 21st (JST), 2022, with the final episode of the game's story released in February of the same year.

- Mascot Mook: Herissmon is the game's mascot and the player's default partner Digimon.
- Palette Swap: Several Digimon have recolored versions with different stats. There are anniversary versions of both forms of Rasenmon and of Jesmon as well as recolors of WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to commemorate the end of the storyline. There are also Battle Park recolors of four of the Royal Knights that are prizes for attaining high rankings in the Battle Park.
- Phantom Zone: Spirals and hostile Digimon create Digital Points, twisted reflections of the real world in cyberspace where they can be fought with no impact on the human world.
- Premium Currency: Rubies, some of which were obtained weekly based on your PVP rankings. Any more than that needed to be bought.
