Dark Tide, an armada of antagonistic, cybernetic fish, has already taken over Earth and are now threatening to take over the entire solar system. It's up to the members of Team B.ARK— Barker, Felicity, Lucio, and Marv to push back the evil fish forces and retake Earth.

- Beary Friendly: Lucio is one of the heroes, is a bear and is as friendly and protective as you’ll ever meet, and he gives his friends bear hugs.
- Cats Are Snarkers: Felicity is a cat, and is as snarky as they come, this feline is not without her wit.
- Dark and Troubled Past: The Dark Tide (an invasion of fish) was hard on everyone, humans and mammals alike. And hidden memories prove just that.
- For Barker, he had to leave his owner, Milla, a scientist who worked on a way to save humanity from what was coming.
- For Marv, he was living with his colony in Nevada. When the invasion started, robotic crabs chased the rodents down, but Marv escaped by burrowing underground. He nearly got caught by one of them, fortunately he was lucky enough to escape its grasp by falling from a vent that was above the headquarters of B.ARK.
- For Lucio, he used to live with a fisherman captain and his son in Italy, which was ironically where the invasion started. Without warning, the Kraken attacked the ship they were on. Lucio survived and barely made it out alive, though it’s unknown what happened to the captain and his son, all that was left was the captains hat, which he would wear to this day.
- For Felicity, when the invasion started, she and other stray cats were chased off to Paris where she and other cats were lucky to find owners. She lived with a family that had a goldfish named Bubbles, and they gave her a necklace that glows when close to him and entrusted her to look out for their fish. Unfortunately, the minute she woke up, she found that Bubbles betrayed her and destroyed her necklace, causing her to realize that Goldfish have short memories.
- Doomed Hometown: Not only was Lucio's home was destroyed by the Kraken, it was also where the Dark Tide began.
- Heroic Dog: Barker is one of the protagonists, and is a dog that, while he might be drooly sometimes, but he’s always willing to lend a helping paw for his friends.
- Kraken and Leviathan: One of the most known bosses would be the Kraken, a robotic squid that is a hundred times bigger than a regular one.
- Mini-Mecha: The 4 protagonists have their own mechs, each one with their own unique abilities.
- Wishbone is Barker's ship, which has extra firepower due to the little helpers and a super bullet stream attack that amplifies the power of the bullets.
- Payback is Felicity's ship, said ship comes with a widespread attack, and can use a super move called Cat's gaze, which unleashes a barrage of bullets.
- Mossy Pig 2 is Lucio's ship, this ship can launch bullets that explode on contact, and it can create a shield which not only protects the ship but it can fuse other special attacks from other ships.
- Lucky 7 is Marv's mech, his bullet can have a homing effect, and his super move, Fearful Focus can slow down time.
- Mixed Animal Species Team: The team of B.ARK, is made up of a dog, a cat, a bunny and a bear.
- Painful Pointy Pufferfish: Two bosses are Bloat and Fugu, Who are robotic pufferfish and can shoot out quills.
- Revenge: To Felicity, Bubbles was the reason she joined B.ARK, to stop him because he betrayed her. She was once her guardian, she was given a necklace that would glow every time Bubbles was nearby. Even though she had a strong dislike for what he did back then, she felt sorry it had to end that way.
- Righteous Rabbit: Marv is a rabbit, he is a timid little guy, but he’s still a hero nonetheless.
- Time Master: Marv can do this with his Fearful Focus super move, which can slow down time, making it easier to dodge too fast bullets.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Marv is the timid one, but he’s more afraid of the dark. This is all due to his past, he was burrowing to escape the invasion, it’s also how he joined B.ARK.
