Tropers / Unhari

Go To

A through-and-through Deadpan Snarker, Unhari has a religious attitude towards Tropes, and is concerned how easily he can write about himself in third person. He mainly makes small additions to various tropes pages, and has a habit of fixing grammatical errors he encounters. His greatest challenge on the site is not doing this on the Troper Tales pages. His favorite trope is Absent-Minded Professor, which he one day hopes to become. He is currently writing the Sci-fi/Fantasy/Superhero story The Chronicles of Atlantis. And he's still talking in third person...

Tropes which apply to Unhari.

  • Calvinball: Unhari used to play a game with his friend to make boring lessons pass faster. It consisted of two stickmen, one red (me), and one blue (him), drawn on the little whiteboard on the back of my study planner. We then took it in turns to give our people objects, or turn them into things, in an effort to kill the other person. For instance, I would start with a sword, and he would create a shield. I would use a grappling hook to pull the shield off, and he would turn the shield into a snake - which would have bitten and killed me, had I not become Iron Man, to which he responded by becoming Superman, but unfortuantely I just happened to be made of Kryptonite... The only rules were that we could never use something that had already been used, and we weren't allowed to become all-powerful. The games tended to go on for days. Good times.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander
  • Deadpan Snarker: He tries not to. He really, really does.
  • Grammar Nazi
  • Imaginary Friend: Unhari argues with all the characters in his books. Constantly.
  • MacGyvering/Duct Tape for Everything
  • Nice Hat: A Top Hat, combined with a suit and cane.
  • The Mad Hatter: He doesn't suffer from insanity, he enjoys every minute of it.
