• Fan Translation: The third game received a translated patch following its non-release out of Japan.
• Invisible Advertising: The games didn't get much attention due to lack of promotion material.
• Late Export for You: Touch Detective 3 was first released in Japan in 2014. The English version would later be released in 2024, ten years after the original release.
• No Export for You: The 3DS version of Touch Detective 3 wasn't released out of Japan, making it the only game in the series to not have an English release. At least until its inclusion in The Complete Case Files for the Nintendo Switch was confirmed to get an American release for spring 2024.
• Sequel Gap: Touch Detective 3 was released seven years after the second game.
• What Could Have Been: The Concept Art Gallery featured in The Complete Case Files showcases designs and areas that changed during development of each game.
