    • In the first season, Mama Cheetah was voiced by production manager Angelina Koinange.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The American redub of the show is nearly impossible to find.
  • International Coproduction: By Tiger Aspect Productions in the United Kingdom and Homeboyz Animation in Kenya.
  • The Other Darrin: In the second season, Sophie Okenedo replaces Angelina Koinange as the voice of Mama Cheetah.
  • Same Language Dub: When Disney Junior aired the series, many of the characters, most notably Red Monkey, were redubbed with American accents, using both actual and Fake American actors. To be fair, many of the characters sounded American in the original, like Hippo and Warthog (both were voiced by American actors based either in Britain.) Canada apparently got both dubs. Interestingly, the Disney Junior version also had a longer ending, in which Red Monkey and Lion would discuss the moral of the story.
