• Awesome Music: The show's theme song is incredibly addicting to listen to, and despite a few somber moments in the episodes themselves is rather jovial and cheerful.
• Jerkass Woobie: Jackal. He's easily the greediest animal in Tinga Tinga, but he was tricked into forever longing for the moon honey that he will never be able to reach.
• Periphery Demographic: This preschool show has one, the Furry Fandom, especially furries who like folklore.
• Tear Jerker: Chameleon's story.
  • Cheetah getting trapped on a log in "Why Cheetah Has Tears". Not only was she evidently in pain from a splinter stuck in her paw, the only other animals at the swamp, Crocodile, Lizard, Jackal, and Hyena refuse to help her and leave her alone. When the other animals try to help her, they are unable to reach her and decide to go and collect wood for a bridge, leaving her alone again. The Wind also flies over to the Cheetah, but doesn't even stop to help her. He just sings a song about winning. Sure, Crocodile secretly helps Cheetah, but for all Cheetah knew she was alone, in pain, and completely helpless. Adding to the punch is that Cheetah is one of the few animals who didn't start off an arrogant jerk. The moment could also double as Nightmare Fuel.
  • Tortoise's shell breaking. Sure, he was an arrogant narcissist who tricked the birds out of their feast, but the way he mourns his broken shell is still saddening to see.
  • Puff Adder's entire plight. He was just a friendly but lonely snake who was avoided by everyone he met, just because he was hard to see and he could bite. He decides to stop trying to be friendly and isolates himself in the desert, before Camel comes along to change his tune.
• The Woobie:
  • Snake and Chameleon, the former for being forced to crawl around completely blind, and the latter for spending the former portion of his episode feeling dull and boring.
  • Also, Hippo in her episode was suffering in the heat due to her long fur and was continuously denied access to the lake.
  • Mama Cheetah in her episode. She lost the race she was so close to winning just because of a splinter on a log, the only animals that were present just scoff her off when she asks them for help, the animals that do help end up having to leave her to gather wood, and all she could do was cry in pain and terror.
  • Cricket in his episode, for feeling completely worthless because he was unable to make his own sound.
  • Skunk in his episode. All day long he was tasked with bathing the dirty animals, Baboon steals his fruit, and then Baboon deprives him of his sweet scent with smelly fruit.
  • Puff Adder spent the beginning of his episode trying desperately to make friends with the other animals, only to be feared and avoided because he was hard to see.
