• Fake Nationality: Swedish actor Max von Sydow plays the presumably Canadian (but curiously Swedish-accented) Brewmeister Smith.
• Money, Dear Boy: Mel Blanc voiced Bob and Doug's father for $10,000. May seem like quite a bargain - a steal, even, for a voice actor of his stature - until you realize he charged by the hour, and $10,000 was his hourly fee. He ran through all his lines in the one hour the producers could afford to pay him for.
