- Dave Filoni initially wrote Ahsoka's story about Plo Koon first discovering her, but he rewrote the story about the young Togrutan's first hunting trip with her mother, noting that there was rarely any stories in the franchise about mother-daughter interactions.
- When he was approached about returning to play Dooku, Corey Burton considered making the younger Count sound more like Michael York to better match the character's age at that time, but Dave Filoni had Burton instead perform his usual impersonation of Christopher Lee.

- Janina Gavankar, who plays Ahsoka's mother Pav-ti, previously voiced Iden Versio in Star Wars Battlefront II (2017), and appeared on The Mandalorian as a puppeteer.
- Clancy Brown voices the nameless Inquisitor that Ahsoka fights in "Resolve", having previously portrayed Savage Opress in The Clone Wars, Ryder Azadi in Rebels, and Burg in The Mandalorian.
