- Acting for Two:
- In Japanese: Much like it's predecessor, Mika Kanai voices Histoire and her Evil Counterpart Croire.
- In English:
- Carrie Keranen voices Vert and Rom, substituting Tara Platt for the former.
- Cristina Vee voices Compa and Croire.
- In both Languages:
- Rie Tanaka and Melissa Fahn voices Neptune and Adult Neptune. Justified as the latter is the former's Ultradimension counterpart.
- Mariko Honda and Erica Lindbeck voices Uzume Tennouboshi and Kurome Ankokuboshi. Also justified, as Kurome is the original Uzume split into two.
- The Dark CPUs have the same Japanese and English voice actors as the CPUs: Neptune and Dark Purple (Rie Tanaka & Melissa Fahn), Noire and Dark Black (Asami Imai & Erin Fitzgerald note ), Blanc & Dark White (Kana Asumi & Wendee Lee), and Vert and Dark Green (Rina Sato and Carrie Keranen). Again, justified, as the Dark CPUs are the main 4 CPUs Evil Counterparts.
- The Other Darrin:
- Vert's usual English voice actress, Tara Platt, was unavailable to reprise her role, so Rom's English voice actress, Carrie Keranen, was tasked with taking over her role. Keranen would voice Vert in all future installments.
- All of Noire's English dialogue in VIIR was redubbed by Erica Mendez, who voiced her in Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online, as opposed to Erin Fitzgerald (her original VA) to maintain consistency with the VR scenes, which in turn sparked fears that Fitzgerald was fired for taking part in the SAG-AFTRA strike and snubbing IFI during production of the dub for the latter game. This is ironically averted with Dark Black, who still used Fitzgerald's recording in VIIR, though it's not as noticeable due to her having a Power Echoes Voice of the Legion.
- Shoot the Money: The first game in the main series to have a proper budget. And the game loves to show you that at every chance it gets. Considering the shoestring development of previous titles, the franchise has come a long way.
- Temporary Online Content: Million Arthur was removed from the PlayStation 4 and Steam stores on January 22, 2020 due to Idea Factory's license with Square Enix expiring, making it impossible to obtain her unless she was already bought previously. The license was renewed on April 23, 2020, resulting in her return for the Switch port and subsequent relisting on the PlayStation Store, albeit only in Japan.
- What Could Have Been: Compile Heart had initially wanted to release each story as separate titles, akin to the Metal Gear Solid V duology. They later combined all 3 stories into a single title.
