• Acting for Two: From Maniac Mania:
  • Carter voices Sonic, Withered Sonic and Salvage Sonic.
  • NodOff voices all of the Mario clones and Toy Marios.
  • PJDoesGames voices all of the Yoshis and Toy Yoshis.
  • Resident voices Tails, Withered Tails and Nightmare Tails.
  • Guh-Huzzuh! voices Toy Sonic, Withered Toy Sonic, Origin Sonic, Clone Mighty and Righty Sonic^note In a deleted trailer for Maniac Mania Plus.
  • YuriHaru567 voices Taingle, Toy Tails and Lefty Sonic.

• Creator's Favorite: Despite distancing themself from the FNaS fandom, YuriHaru567 has stated that their favorite role was Lefty Sonic and they would be happy to voice her in future adaptations or fanworks.
• Cross-Dressing Voices:
  • The male PJDoesGames voices the Yoshis and Toy Yoshis, who are all female.
  • YuriHaru567, a nonbinary person, voices Taingle, Toy Tails, and Lefty Sonic, who are all female.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: As of 2020, all five games in the original series have been deleted off of GameJolt, the website where it was originally hosted, and TheCyVap has no interest in uploading them back. This hasn't stopped people from hosting them on other file sharing sites, however.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: Many of the skins shown in Maniac Mania Plus were creations of fans of the series.
• The Other Darrin: The role of the Tails clones has been recast to an unknown voice actress due to Resident's voice getting deeper.
• The Other Marty: After Universal_Foxes lost the role of Mario due to a Role-Ending Misdemeanor, Unsafermirror2 was initially cast as the role. A few months into the development of Maniac Mania Plus, however, he was recast with NodOff for unknown reasons, despite Unsafermirror2 already recording most of his lines.
• Promoted Fanboy: YuriHaru567 and Unsafermirror2 were fan of the series long before they were cast as voice actors.
• Real-Life Relative: YuriHaru567 and Unsafermirror2, two voice actors for the series, are a couple in real life.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanour:
  • Universal_Foxes, the voice of the Mario variants in Maniac Mania, had to be recast a few months prior to the PLUS remake getting announced after allegations of pedophilia.
  • Bew, one of the former members of Team Cyantix got exposed for having a sexual relationship with a minor in 2021, this lead to Phantom Bew getting removed from Maniac Mania Infinite and other easter eggs relating to him.
  • Both Piggy and Bunn were kicked off the dev team for Maniac Mania INFINITE in July of 2022 after they were found out to have groomed several underaged fans.
  • SmilerFurcifer deleted all of his social media accounts and disappeared from the internet in November 2023 after his NSFW alt account, which contained lewd drawings of canonically underage characters, was exposed.
• What Could Have Been: The series saw its fair share of spin-off games that have been announced, but canceled. Some games were also released, deemed non-canon, and afterwards deleted include:
  • RockClones: Dr. Golden's Attack: Dr. Golden is going to Take Over the World with his repurposed toy animatronics. You play as either one of the cloned versions of Sonic, Mario, Yoshi, and Tails to stop his reign of terror in a Mega Man-styled fangame. After a long development time, the game was cancelled. However, a sanctioned fangame called Rockclones: Powered Up! is in the works.
  • FNaS World released on May 2016 and copied the gameplay of Five Nights at Freddy’s World. After going through some iterations, it was deleted.
  • FNaSTale: based off of Undertale, a demo was released, but deleted alongside the game being canceled.
  • A trailer for Five Nights at Sonic’s: Sister Location, a game based off of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location was released, but it was deleted and canceled.
  • Sonic's Pizzeria Simulator released on March 2018 and was based off of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. It was released, deleted, reuploaded, and ultimately deleted. Lefty Sonic, an original character from the game, would reappear as the shop clerk in Maniac Mania. A remaster of Sonic's Pizzeria Simulator was in development, and a demo was released for less than a day, but has been deleted. Its artist for the game, meanwhile, moved on to draw for Maniac Mania.
  • The original five games in the Five Nights at Sonic's were intended to get a remaster, but were cancelled in 2019 due to lack of interest in the project. The project has since been turned into an official fan remake done by SmilerFurcifer and was slated to release in early 2023 before being cancelled entirely due to Smiler losing motivation.
  • Any FNaS related productions in the works before November 2023 were suddenly cancelled due to SmilerFurcifer being exposed for drawing NSFW featuring the OC of a known groomer within the FNaS community.
• Word of God: According to TheCyVap himself, the "inside joke" that served as the inspiration to the franchise was a drawing he did of the FNaF 1 characters hiding from Sonic.exe.
• Working Title: The Maniac Mania remake had three previous titles used: Maniac Mania PLUS, and Maniac Mania Recoded.
