  • This Kotaku post certainly helped spread the word of FNAFB.
  • Then comes Markiplier's playthrough of the series, shortly before Fuckboy's 3's release.
• DVD Commentary: The Complete Collection adds optional text commentary describing some of the more significant changes between the original three titles and their remakes when they're reached.
• Referenced by...: The game series received a subtle reference in the FNaF World: Halloween Edition, a promotional "troll game" made by Scott Cawthon himself, in the form of two Party Hat Optional Bosses, referencing the Party Hat mooks/Protection Hat Minibosses in the game series (confirmed to be a reference by Scott himself).
• What Could Have Been:
  • A memo within the third game's folders suggests that the main enemies of Fazbear's Fright were going to be birthday presents instead of phantom hats.
  • In Fuckboy's 3's files there are voice lines for Springtrap exclaiming that there's is a third puppet. This ultimately didn't make it into the game, but files for the "Future Puppet's" fight linger in the game.
  • According to Word of God, Act 3's finale was originally meant to be a much darker Downer Ending with Freddy destroying every iteration of B.B across the timelines which results in a time paradox, rendering the world unstable as B.B's last existing instance is killed.
