  • In "Popularity: Origin of Evil", when teen!Laura ends up killing Slimm Timm and thus ruining Arabella's plan to "cancel" him, she and her crew end up blaming Chrissy for everything and abandon her. When Laura (trying her best not reveal to herself to Chrissy) tries to console her, Chrissy reveals that, since she moved around so much, she never had any friends (let alone friends who are girls) her own age.
Chrissy: You'd think this sound stupid, but I moved around so much growing up that I never had girl-friends my own age. So, I guess when they noticed me, it felt like it might be my only chance to have friends. See ya.
Laura: (sighs, guilty) I really am a fuckin' hag...
  • The end of "The Antichrist's Monster", where Chrissy tries to apologize to Bennigan after her misguided attempts to "cure" his self-esteem issues cause him to feel worse about himself. While Bennigan acknowledges that he and Chrissy are still friends, he's not ready to talk to her due to her actions and their friendship is clearly strained.
    • In the same episode, there's the subplot where Laura and Satan take their aging pet dog (who's in the body of a hellhound) to the Isle of Wepwawet so that he can pass on peacefully.
  • In "Domestic Disturbance VIII", while Laura and Chrissy are having a really nasty fight, Satan tries to get involved by possessing the body of a cockroach, infiltrating Laura's diary, and handing it to Chrissy. When she reads it, she is shocked to learn that Laura tried to create a spell to turn back time before she even met Satan which would have wiped Chrissy from existence. When confronting her, Laura tries telling her various excuses, which only angers Chrissy, who keeps throwing pictures at her and asking her "Why?" Which leads to Laura saying this:
Laura: Because your birth felt like my death!
    • Just the sheer weight of those words is enough to send Chrissy into a full fury, but underneath all that anger you can really hear the sadness and betrayal she expresses when confronting her mother.
    • After spending the episode trying to get them to reconcile, Bennigan and Darlene get tired of the Feinbergs just refusing to talk things out (with Bennigan, who is still angry at Chrissy, even stating that it's terrible that they keep treating him and Darlene as nothing more than side characters to their lives, unconcerned that the two of them also have lives of their own and how much damage they can cause to everyone around them) and decide to just cut their losses and leave them behind. Considering that Bennigan and Darlene were Chrissy and Laura's first friends since moving to Delaware and have been shown to be very nice, supportive people despite the latter two often dragging them to their supernatural shenanigans, the two reaching their last straws and (seemingly) deciding to cut both Feinbergs out of their lives due to how toxic they can be is quite sad. Thankfully, by the next episode, Darlene is still helping Laura out after Chrissy leaves, meaning their friendship is still going strong.
    • By the end of the episode, when both mother and daughter have calm down (and their house collapsing) Chrissy decides to leave Laura behind to live with Satan. Laura's worst fear has been realized and it is practically all her own fault. Exactly what Satan had wanted...
  • In "Wet Bodies", Laura takes advantage of her time away from Chrissy and meets the sea hag, who's genuinely good to her despite being an actual sea hag. Unfortunately for her, while consummating the relationship, she misses an urgent message from Chrissy, who has gotten herself into trouble again, further damaging their relationship. She reluctantly leaves the sea hag and returns home, only to find that Chrissy is not waiting for her and the house is still destroyed.
