  • In "The Great Escape!", Pig Three mentions that he watched a show called Pignum, P.I. when trying to find out how the Great Tromboni escaped the vault.
  • Barbara LaFrum is a reporter for a show called 20 Minutes.
  • In "Moving In!", when Cedric tries to show Cyril that the Pigs are on Three Guys with a Cause, Cyril dismisses television as "a vast wasteland".
  • In "The Wrong Stuff!, Cyril tells Cedric "We're going to boldly broadcast where no man has broadcast before.", marking another shout-out to Star Trek.
  • In the opening pitch for the scrapped reboot, the video game that Cyril plays has been updated to resemble Minecraft.
