Shout Out / The Raccoons

• Frean's Peak, a large mountain in the Evergreen Forest, is named for Peek Freans, a cookie company. ^note Peek Freans is still marketed in Canada, but has been discontinued elsewhere since 1989.
• In "The Christmas Raccoons", the Raccoondominium has a Saturday Night Fever poster on the wall but with Tony Manero as a raccoon.
• "The Raccoons on Ice"
  • Throughout the special, Cedric is wearing what appears to be a New York Islanders jersey.
  • The song "You Can Do It" mentions the Stanley Cup.
• In "The Raccoons: Let's Dance!", the NASA logo appears on the space shuttle.
• In "The Evergreen Grand Prix", both a Goodsneer tire and billboard can be seen.
• In "Rumours!" when Bert is getting ready to clip a lock of Snag's fur, he says "I feel like Vidal Raccoon.".
• In "The Sweet Smell of Success!" Cyril claims that the footage of Bert that he got on camera would make Star Wars look like a slideshow.
• In "Blast from the Past!", it's revealed that Ralph's uncle is named Rocky.
• In "Power Trip!", Cyril watches a TV show called Steal of Fortune. In "The Wrong Stuff!" Cyril mentions that it's the only show worth watching on KNOX-TV.
• In "Time Trap!", after Cyril reclaims the treasure that had previously been lost in "Buried Treasure!", he says "Beam me up, Tommy"!
• In "The Prism of Zenda!", Cyril wants to produce a movie about the exploits of Saskatchewan Smith, an explorer who appears to be an homage to Indiana Jones.
• In "The Chips Are Down!", Bert tries to sell his Mickey Mantlepiece baseball card to Cedric.
• In another musical nod, there's a character named Woodchuck Berry.
• In "Life in the Fast Lane!", Bert claims that Cyril's limousine makes the Crystler Building look like a pickup truck.
• In the DVD introduction to "Monster Mania!", Bert describes the episode as "Jurassic Park, Evergreen style".^note This episode is from 1988 and predates Jurassic Park by several years; the DVD voiceovers were recorded in 2003.
• In the DVD introduction to "Mom's the Word!", Bert describes the episode as being the "Evergreen Antiques Roadshow".
• In "Simon Says!", Bert goes undercover as a detective by the name of Luke Warm. He introduces himself to the Pigs by saying "The name's Warm... Luke Warm.", similar to how James Bond usually introduces himself.
• "The Sky's the Limit!":
  • During Ralph's Imagine Spot, he runs into a phone booth and comes out as a superhero that's clearly based on Superman.
  • At the end of the episode, Ralph does an impersonation of Humphrey Bogart when he says" Here's looking at you, kid." to Melissa.
• In "Spring Fever!", Cyril desperately wants to meet a tycoon named J. P. Gordon.
• In "The Family Secret!", Pig One asks a hypnotized Pig Three a question pertaining to Monopoly. Specifically, how much money does a player collect for finishing second in a beauty contest? Pig Three gives the correct answer of ten dollars.
• In "The Great Escape!", Pig Three mentions that he watched a show called Pignum, P.I. when trying to find out how the Great Tromboni escaped the vault.
• Barbara LaFrum is a reporter for a show called 20 Minutes.
• In "Moving In!", when Cedric tries to show Cyril that the Pigs are on Three Guys with a Cause, Cyril dismisses television as "a vast wasteland".
• In "The Wrong Stuff!, Cyril tells Cedric "We're going to boldly broadcast where no man has broadcast before.", marking another shout-out to Star Trek.
• In the opening pitch for the scrapped reboot, the video game that Cyril plays has been updated to resemble Minecraft.
