Takes place 12-28 March 2013.

The Renegade works on improving Hell as per his deal with the First of the Fallen.

Paul helps out with some of the more complicated matters regarding the reconstruction of Earth.

The title refers to the fact that the episode primarily takes place in Hell.

  • Alternate Universe:
    • We get to see Tangseid trying to function with their altered moral compass, primarily through his attempts to get a date out of Artemis.
    • We see Power Ring talking to his eldest child about the fact that she remembers her past life.
  • An Arm and a Leg: The Renegade loses a hand in his fight against the First of the Fallen.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Tangseid taking over the world initially appeared to be a result of him taking the Evil Formula, which resulted in Tangseid having a case of Blue-and-Orange Morality. However, he's persuaded into undoing the mental effects of the Evil Formula. Afterwards though, he sets off to get the Left Eye of Zoltec, which, unbeknownst to him, has a corrupting effect on those who wield it.
  • Don't Do Anything I Wouldn't Do: Artemis is worried about whether Tangseid is a psychopath, and talks to her mother about it, but Paula recognises that she can't give much advice, since she married Sportsmaster.
Paula: I suppose that the question of whether Paul is better for you than Lawrence is for me is whether he is willing to stop doing things that you don't like when you ask him to. Is he?
Artemis: He didn't shoot the cat again.
Paula: Then you are already a better judge of men than I am.
  • Dramatic Irony: Artemis asks Robin to check up on Tangseid to make sure that what he's already dosed himself with didn't have unforeseen side effects. Unfortunately, that's already happened.
  • History Repeats: The First is once again stabbed In the Back by someone wielding the Sword of the Fallen after getting distracted, which he lampshades.
    The First: Fucking… Again?
  • Interspecies Romance: Discussed after Sunset learns that her target is the demonic son of the Wizard Shazam, and she's a little perplexed about whether that kind of relationship is common on Earth. She immediately regrets mentioning it after the Renegade talks about this in regards to some species in Equestria, such as kirin, which are hybrids of ponies and dragons.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: After Richard Simpson gets a hold of the Sword of the Fallen, he's reluctant to return it to the Renegade. Neron, Roscarnis, and Satanus suddenly showing up and demanding the weapon causes him to decide to give it back to the Renegade after all.
I sidle closer to Simpson, watching as cyborgs and Druoth each edge closer to him. "Give it to me and you live through the day."
"Done." He slaps it into my hand, to the astonished glances of the three demon lords. "Now let's get out of here."
  • Not So Invincible After All: The Renegade proves that Stercorax's body isn't completely invulnerable, first by leaving a tiny groove in his body by putting all of his might into an attack with his daiklave and then again by stabbing him in the brain with the Sword of the Fallen.
  • Oh, Crap!: Rosacarnis is immediately terrified after seeing the Renegade damage Stercorax's seemingly invulnerable body by stabbing it in the brain.
  • An Offer You Can't Refuse: The Renegade gives one to Triskelle.
"You have the siblings of my children in your domain. You will aid in restoring their memories. You will exempt them from all service. You will guard and protect them. You will not seek retribution for this agreement. You will not ask for anything in return because I've got you over a barrel right now and the only way you're not being impaled on the Sword of the Fallen is if the next words out of your mouth are 'I agree to all of your terms'."
I draw the Sword and scuff the edge of the circle with my right foot.
    "So how about it?"
  • Past-Life Memories: Power Ring and Zorina's eldest daughter Zita remembers enough of her past life to act more like a small adult than a child. When Power Ring directly asks her how much she remembers, she reveals that she remembers her two previous lives: Suzuki Kenta and Tanya von Degurechaff.
  • Switching P.O.V.: We see how Artemis reacts after her date with Tangseid.
  • Too Kinky to Torture: Richard Simpson actually finds torture itself kinky, so he answers the Renegade's questions while strapped to a table, with the latter breaking his bones all the while.
  • What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Tangseid asserts that Indigo is not a person because he can't see any emotions from it, unlike with Red Tornado.
