However, one of the robbers survived the plane crash and now lives as a mountain cannibal, stalking not only Alex and Walker, but also a group of opportunists seeking to steal the $3 million left over from the robbery.

Days Past: Vince Pike, a ruthless mob boss and Walker's old nemesis, is granted an early release from prison, and both men want revenge on each other: Walker on Pike for killing his former fiancée, Ellen Garrett, a decade ago, and Pike on Walker for his imprisonment for the aforementioned crime by targeting not only Walker himself, but also his many close friends, including CD, Trivette and Alex. In spite of the strong grudge he bears against Pike for his crime, Walker tries to put aside his anger to protect his friends and find the right evidence to send Pike back to prison once and for all.

Texas vs. Cahill: Alex is accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend, who is the defending attorney in her current trial, and is sent to a women's prison where she ends up contending with vengeful female inmates she prosecuted in the past, until one inmate held on trumped-up charges saves her. When Alex's father, Gordon, agrees to defend her, he, Walker and Trivette suspect that Alex's current defendant framed her for the crime.

Season Six

Iceman: While Walker and Trivette are in pursuit of mad bomber Maxwell "The Iceman" Kronert, who is hired by a mob boss to assist him with his bank heists, the duo finds out he bears a strong resemblance to their old friend, Charlie Brooks (from "Mayday" and "Last Hope"). While the real Iceman is recuperating in the hospital following the chase before he is to be imprisoned and brought to trial, Walker and Trivette convince Charlie to pose as the bomber in the hopes of catching the mob boss before he can proceed with his bank heists. Charlie agrees so he doesn't have to serve the rest of his community service, but this could be difficult when the real Iceman escapes from the hospital.

Forgotten People: A corrupt nursing home administrator and her staff of rogue doctors hoping to put a new Alzheimer's drug on the market to profit from are using the home as a front for an illegal testing facility and using their elderly patients as guinea pigs. When an old friend of Trivette's is murdered by the doctors and made to look like a heart attack for attempting to expose them, CD is sent in undercover as a patient there to gather evidence to prove it, unaware that another patient is also undercover for the same reason. At the same time, Walker, Trivette and Alex try to secure a search warrant on the nursing home by exhuming the bodies of the patients and having the medical examiner's office uncover traces of the illegal drug.

A Woman's Place: Thanks to Alex's father, the Rangers' old friend, Alfre Grimes (who was held on trumped-up charges and saved Alex from the vengeful female inmates in "Texas vs. Cahill"), is released from prison and lands a union job as a construction worker. When Alfre suspects that the foreman is intentionally overlooking code violations and running a scam behind the boss's back, Alex and Walker have to stop the foreman and his cronies from killing Alfre and her family.

  • 17. In God's Hands: During a pursuit of armed robbers, a 6-year-old boy is shot and badly wounded. Trivette had fired his pistol in the general direction of the boy (while aiming for one of the criminals) and is placed on administrative leave. A series of situations – an embittered former Ranger (who was passed over for a promotion), a rouge TV journalist and the victim's revenge-driven older brother – all seek to unnerve Trivette while Walker tries to piece together what really happened and if this was just an accident... or if someone else was responsible.

  • 20. Warriors: The Rangers' old friend, Dr. Susan Lee, is kidnapped again. This time, by a group of conspirators bent on world domination seeking to use her genetic research to create a superhuman species. Susan's son, Davey, helps the Rangers find her via a special bond he shares with her.

  • 22. The Soul of Winter: While a sermon is taking place at the First Christian Church of Dallas, one of its parishioners is shot by a gang of Neo-Nazis. As the Rangers investigate, details come to light about its leader, Stan Gorman, whom Pastor Roscoe Jones helped put away many moons ago, and it turns out that his son was the intended target.

  • 24. Test of Faith: Ricardo Lopez, a middle school teacher and a close friend of Walker and Trent's, is murdered by gang members while leaving work one afternoon, and Walker, substituting for him, seeks to find the people responsible and promote the message of standing up to gang influence.

  • 2. Trackdown: Carlos's nephew-in-law, Hector Lopez, is accused of attacking his greedy former employer, but Walker eventually helps him clear his name. However, just before Hector can be officially released, he is forced to escape from the prison after his cellmate, killed by corrupt prison guards, gives him evidence of a drug-trafficking operation said guards are running. Meanwhile, Alex opens the HOPE (Help Our People Excel) Center to try to help the less fortunate, realizing she needs to do more with her life besides putting the criminals behind bars.

The Children of Halloween: Walker and Trivette investigate satanic symbols at sites where children, as well as Alex, have been abducted, and discover that a group of devil worshippers plan to sacrifice all of them on Halloween. The duo must track down the kidnappers and rescue Alex and the children before the sacrifice comes to fruition.

  • 8. Second Chance: The Rangers' old friend, Adam McGuire (from Season 4's "Flashpoint"), is back in Dallas. This time, with his young daughter, Jennifer, who is visiting the Dallas Children's Hospital for a much-needed bone marrow transplant, and after a bone marrow drive, a young boy named Dennis is named as her donor. However, IRA radicals kidnap her in retaliation for her father's killing one of their members, albeit in self-defense, and the Rangers have to save her before she dies from her illness.

  • 10. Eyes of a Ranger: 16-year-old aspiring country singer Kelly Wyman (played by Lila McCann) is under the belief that her wealthy boyfriend might help her launch her career. However, she doesn't realize he's the leader of a heroin cartel Walker is investigating, especially when she unintentionally ends up with 100 hours of community service at the HOPE Center after one of the busts. It is during her sentence, Walker and Alex may actually be the ones to help launch her career after discovering the talent she possesses.

Lost Boys: 15-year-old Jesse Estrella, the nephew of Carlos Sandoval, ends up being framed for the murder of a Dallas detective following a raid on an electronics warehouse after his best friend, who participated in the heist, has the murder weapon left in his care by the real killer, and then leaves it in his dresser in a bout of panic. Jesse is then given the choice by the owner of the gun to keep silent of what happened or else he will kill his mother, but in short, he plans on having both of them killed anyway even after his forceful confession to a crime he didn't commit, that is, unless his best friend is willing to come forward and admit what really happened...

Special Witness: Mobster Morris Foley is on trial for murder and has intimidated every other witness in the hopes he walks out of court a free man, but Trent is the only one brave enough to testify against him. However, an assassin (played by Gary Busey) hired by Foley stabs Trent in the hopes he either dies or doesn't pull through long enough before the trial. Sally, a Special Olympian Trent was escorting to running practice, is the only witness to the attack, and Walker needs her help catching the assassin in order to prove Foley tried to kill him, but at the same time, her life is also in danger, henceforth, Walker must protect her from said assassin.

  • 17. livegirls.now: Trivette's girlfriend is kidnapped by a gang of slave traders who auction off beautiful women into sex slavery and he and Walker have to find her before she is sold.

  • 2. Countdown: The Rangers have 48 hours to stop a terrorist leader from releasing anthrax on the city of Dallas. Francis Gage and Sydney Cooke, two rookie Texas Rangers, join the team. Despite the previous episode showing Gage and Sydney in the opening credits, this episode marks their first official appearance.

Fight or Die: When an undercover cop is murdered in an Arkansas State Prison where an illegal prize fighting ring is operating, the Governor of Arkansas enlists the Texas Rangers' help to go undercover in the prison and expose the operation, since being out-of-state cops will make it easy for them to maintain their cover. Walker, Gage and Trivette agree to tackle the mission, with the former two posing as inmates and the latter as a guard.
  • 10. Rise to the Occasion: Gage and Sydney go undercover at a nightclub to bust a drug ring being operated by its owner. In the B-plot, Walker witnesses a middle schooler's suicide and, while trying to get the school to improve its image, learns that his bullies belong to a gang that wants to keep the school the way it is.

Season Nine

  • 1. Home of the Brave: A corrupt landlord, after failing to drive his tenants out of one of his properties, seeks to destroy it and make it look like an accident, but when a young boy witnesses one of his cronies commit his crime, he is trapped in the explosion and Walker has to save him before the building collapses. In the B-Plot, Gage and Sydney trail a smuggling ring kidnapping newborns and selling them to unsuspecting couples.

Deadly Situation: Rookie police officer Glenn Cooper, who happens to be a descendant of the legendary Texas Ranger and Walker's idol, Hayes Cooper, is set up by a group of dirty cops after he catches them perpetrating a drug deal. Desperate to prove his innocence, he takes Alex hostage, and the Rangers believe he is telling the truth.

The Avenging Angel: When Trivette's old friend from the Dallas Cowboys, who is now a professional wrestler, is killed while doing his trademark flight into the ring, he and Walker suspect it wasn't an accident, having found that his cable was severed, and try to connect his murder to a ruthless businessman trying to put his wrestling company out of business.

Child of Hope: Walker and Alex end up caring for an abandoned infant when his mother ends up on the run from a band of vicious criminals who just killed her husband following a home invasion gone sour. After the Rangers discover the link between the baby and the home invaders, and while trying to find his mother and protect her from the criminals, Walker and Alex decide they want a child of their own.
  • 10. Faith: A young girl who lost her mother to a drug overdose when she was a little baby and currently lives with her grandmother, a professional singer (played by Dionne Warwick), was diagnosed with a genetic liver disorder during her toddler years, and when her liver starts to give out, she is need of a life-saving transplant. However, on surgery day, when a gang of bank robbers steal the ambulance containing the donated organ and take one of the paramedics transporting it hostage, the Rangers have very little time to catch the robbers, rescue the kidnapped EMT and recover the liver.

Desperate Measures: Aurora Slaughter, Randi Ruiz, Lara Pope and Hitch Harrelson, four inmates bound for the women's prison in Gatesville, are sprung from their imprisonment after the boyfriends of the former two inmates ambush their bus and free them. Lara and Harrelson, meanwhile, are left to fend for themselves after the escape, with the former trying to prove she is innocent of a murder committed by her mobster ex-husband, Garrett Pope. When news of the escape breaks, Walker, Trivette and Sydney search for Aurora, Randi and their boyfriends, while Lara and Harrelson unknowingly give Gage a ride back to Dallas after his motorcycle breaks down en route and Garrett seeks to find Lara and kill her.

  • 16. 6 Hours: During an awards banquet where Alex is being honored for her work at the HOPE Center, Heather Preston, the teenage daughter of Dallas billionaire Tim Preston, is kidnapped by her traitorous bodyguard (played by Nick Chinlund) and he threatens to murder her within six hours unless Tim pays a ransom, even sinking so low as to broadcast his crime live over the Internet. The Rangers have within that time to find and stop the traitor and rescue Heather before he makes good on his threat. Considering that Tim lost his wife several years earlier, he doesn't want to lose his only child, too!

Legends: When Samuel Viscardi, a noted Dallas mob boss, is recently convicted for a number of crimes his organization committed, ranging from murder to racketeering, and has the book thrown at him, his son and heir, Michael, goes on a rampage of revenge against everyone responsible for his imprisonment, from the head juror to the judge and to top it all off, the prosecuting attorney, Alex. In the B-plot, Walker's kickboxing friends come to town for a tournament held that weekend.
  • 19. Unsafe Speed: When an illegally-licensed trucker kills a family, the Rangers spring into action after obtaining the information about his supplier before he dies, as well. When the supplier is caught, he reveals he got the meth he gave to the trucker from a biker gang. While Gage and Sydney pose as bikers to infiltrate the gang operating the meth lab, Alex and Trivette seek out whoever is responsible for illegally issuing trucker licenses after she discovers that the trucker did not meet the qualifications.
  • 20. Without a Sound: When a gang of carjackers murder Gage's high school sweetheart during their class reunion, Gage ends up losing his hearing while he and Sydney try to stop them. While Gage leans on Sydney for support after the blast, she has to guard him from the carjackers, who now seek to kill him, while Walker and Trivette try to track them down.
