While Beef takes Moon on the Ten-Year Tobin's Retreat, Wolf and Honeybee are left in charge of the house and use this opportunity to test out the parenting skills they learned from two different books. During Wolf and Honeybee's watch, a bus full of adult show choir breaks down in front of the house and Wolf and Honeybee use this opportunity to test out which parenting style works best for them. Meanwhile, Judy and Ham reveal they're secretly throwing Bethany's haunted doll-themed birthday party in Wolf and Honeybee's cabin and alcohol will be involved. During Moon's Ten-Year Tobin Retreat, Beef decides to test Moon's survivalist skills in the city of Anchorage instead in the woods in which Moon has trouble adapting to.

Tropes:

  • Callback: Wolf is wearing the wig that Ham once wore during a flashback where the Tobins were heading towards Mayor Peppers' wig party in "Say It Again, Ham Adventure".
  • Chekhov's Gun: Before leaving, Beef tells Wolf to fix the pothole in front of the house. In the excitement of practicing how to be a parent, Wolf completely forgets about the pothole, which is why the choir bus breaks down in front of the home.
  • Children Are Innocent: While searching for a place for food, Moon finds a place that has a free buffet, not realizing it's a strip club. When the bouncer denies Moon from eating at the strip club and Moon asks why, the bouncer wants Beef to explain it to him and Beef bluntly tells him there are naked women inside dancing on stage. Moon doesn't think it's a problem as he could just close his eyes and eat the food, but he's still not allowed inside.
  • Couch Gag:
    • The boat in the opening says "Knot That Innocent"
    • Wolf's T-Shirt says "The Gas Station".
  • Country Mouse: Moon is perfectly capable of surviving in the wilderness, but those skills are completely useless for him in the city, which is why Beef takes him to Anchorage for his ten-year Tobin survival retreat.
  • Faking Engine Trouble: In order to have Moon's wilderness retreat in the city of Anchorage, Beef tasked Laura to fake an emergency landing with her plane by claiming something is wrong with it and they need to land in Anchorage to see the problem with it. After they land, Lara claims her plane has "wacky wings" and she's going to have to stay overnight to get it fixed, but Moon eventually figures out that Beef wanted to have their retreat in Anchorage.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: The yeti can be spotted walking offscreen during the moment when Wolf and Honeybee are confronting Rocky who locked himself inside the outhouse.
  • Gentle Touch vs. Firm Hand: Wolf and Honeybee each read different parenting books to practice having children; Honeybee's book advises parents to be like business managers (firm hand), while Wolf's is about parents acting like the children's best friends (gentle touch). When the choir leads have an argument and Bethany's haunted doll party is found out, Wolf and Honeybee each take one situation and put the advice to use, but both end up failing. They then realize that parenting requires both of them and by working together they solve both situations.
  • Grief Song: Rocky and Jackie both have songs they want to sing at Tallulah's funeral. Jackie's song is about how they all miss her and Rocky's song is very inappropriate as it describes how thrilling she is when she's having sex. After Rocky talks out his grief of losing Tallulah to Wolf and Honeybee, Rocky agrees to do Jackie's song at the funeral.
  • Intercourse with You: Because of his relationship with Tallulah, Rocky wants to sing this type of song for Tallulah's funeral despite everyone protesting his song is very inappropriate for a funeral. He sings a slow version of his song during the end credits.
  • Locked in the Bathroom: Upset that he's not allowed to sing his sexually explicit song at Tallulah's funeral, Rocky locks himself in the Tobin's outhouse.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • Steven Huang and Chrissy arrives at the main house of the Tobins and Steven announces they're here for the party and brought beer, before slowly realizing he went to the wrong location and accidentally revealed Judy and Ham's party to Wolf and Honeybee.
    • After Moon finds Brian's home address in a phonebook at a phone booth, he and Beef freak out when the crazy guy who thinks he's Sarah Connor found them and chases after them thinking they're Terminators.
  • Pop-Cultural Osmosis Failure: Because Beef didn't let Moon watch 'The Terminator'', Moon doesn't know what exactly the crazy guy is accusing them of when he calls them Terminators.
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The title is a play on Jerry Lee Lewis's "Great Balls of Fire."
  • Rite of Passage: For their tenth birthday, Tobin boys are sent on a retreat to test their wilderness survival skills. For Moon's retreat, however, Beef decided that, since he already knows how to survive in the wild, they will instead test their survival skills in the city.
  • Spanner in the Works: Wolf and Honeybee learn about Judy and Ham throwing a party involving alcohol at their cabin because Steven Huang and Chrissy thought they were having the party in the main house and told Wolf and Honeybee they were here for the party and brought beer before realizing they went to the wrong location since none of their classmates were there.
  • Stalker without a Crush: When a taxi driver drops off Beef and Moon at a motel, the driver warns them about a crazy guy who thinks he's Sarah Connor from the Terminator and warns them to avoid him. Unfortunately, the crazy guy spots them and follows them and threatens to kill them because he thinks they're Terminators. He even stole their backpack with their supplies inside.
  • That Came Out Wrong: Wolf shortens Fill that pothole to "F that P".
  • Wild Teen Party: Parodied with the secret "haunted doll party" Judy and Ham are throwing. They keep saying it's going to "slam" and "slap", but aside from some kids bringing "hard chocolate milk" and Steven Huang almost bringing beer before he got caught, it's actually pretty low key.

Rocky: Okay, slսts, let's give it to 'em.
♫ When she'd feel a cold chill
But still need a thrill
Tallulah loved cold sweats and hot sеx
When you're in danger of frostbite
But she wants to go all night
Nothing made me moan like Tallulah's fun zone ♫

Rocky & Choir:
♫ Now she's dead (Now she's dead)
But she's up in St. Peter's bed ♫

Rocky:
♫ Giving him
Cold sweats and hot sеx. ♫
