A pink carrier ship from the far-away "Ultraprison" crashes at Superjail, leaving its staff and inmates stranded until the ship can be fixed. In the meantime, the Warden and the Mistress become fast feuding rivals and arrange a bet: Whoever's inmates are the most civilized gets Superjail all for themselves. But the Twins have other ideas...

"Ladies' Night" contains examples of:

  • Censor Box: Numerous ones appear in the mud wrestling scene, after the inmates decide to start having sex. It's not known if anything was actually drawn underneath or if these were added for the sake of the gag, although it seems like it could've been the latter (with a "Too Hot for TV!" Superjail logo appearing at the bottom of the screen).
  • Chekhov's Gag: The "Spanish flies", depicted literally as flies wearing sombreros, seem to just be a gag used to make the women sex-crazed and don't appear after that- up until the ending gag, where the flies are now bored and wondering what they should do next. The horny tequila worm that they dread having sex with then flirts with them.
  • Continuity Nod: One of the two bored inmates from last episode is shown sitting at Jacknife's table, as Jared attempts to teach Jacknife proper dinner etiquette (although, production-wise, "Dream Machine" came between that episode and this one).
  • Depending on the Artist: The Mistress' top alternates between having no sleeves and being flared at the shoulders, or having short sleeves. The latter depiction comes from Karacas' concept design seen on the season 1 poster (although that version of the Mistress also lacked her tie and belt).
  • Distaff Counterpart: Aside from the Ultraprison staff, female versions of Gary and Bird are briefly spotted when Bruce locks the inmates into a holding cell.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The Ultraprison ship is much different (although the Mistress does say that it was "one" of her ships), and the Mistress and her staff ride in a separate, smaller ship. In "Stingstress", the staff and inmates all ride in a single, ring-shaped ship. Perhaps justified at the end of the episode, where the Mistress mentions she'll be making changes to her prison.
    • Nova having a computerized overlay to her voice comes off as this, as it was dropped in her return appearance.
    • Although character heights and details vary by artist, Bruce being shorter than the Mistress can appear odd here as the artists in "Stingstress" favored depicting him as the tallest of the Ultraprison staff.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: The Mistress' hair instantly lengthens when she's ready to have sex with the Warden (to his horror). It goes back to being short after she wakes up from her high and realizes what she had done.
  • Eye Scream: A bar patron takes a high heeled shoe to the eye, a Superjail inmate's eyeballs are crushed by one of the Ultraprison inmates, and the fat perverted inmate also gets an eye gouged out by a shoe flung at him.
  • Fan Disservice: After an interactive TV (actually Jailbot) asks if Jacknife would like to see a naked woman, he presses "Yes". The TV then shows him the nude and bloodied body of the elderly woman he mauled for her dress.
  • Foreshadowing: The opening segment involves Jacknife impersonating a female for the Ladies' Night Special. The episode is about a Distaff Counterpart Superjail.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: While the staff panics about the "space intruders" entering the jail, Bird is shown leading over a cult of rats in a hole in the wall as the "camera" zooms through.
    • One of the Doctor's human experiments (the one with his eyes sewn shut and used as a walking TV) can be seen in a panning detail just before the inmate ball starts.
    • The Warden's Mrs Whatsit-lookalike creature briefly flies by as he rides in his car.
    • The Mistress is briefly animated with a tooth gap (but one smaller than the Warden's) just before she's bitten by the Spanish flies.
    • The Warden has a photo of his father (The Prison Mogul) at his bedside, which can be seen after the Mistress wakes up.
  • Funny Background Event: Jacknife sneaks into the Ultraprison ship with the women at the end, having apparently stolen one's dress and scalped her for her hair.
  • Mythology Gag: Bruce is voiced by Melissa Brown, the original actress for Alice. Brown basically used the voice she performed for Alice, but slightly deeper and added a bit of a lisp. This trope would be averted in Bruce's return in season 3.
  • Mud Wrestling: Occurs between the Ultraprison inmates in their sex-crazed madness, after the Twins unleash mud in the gym (Jacknife even throws some dollar bills at two female inmates mud-wrestling). THEN all the inmates start getting it on in the mud.
  • Only One Female Mold: The Ultraprison inmates all have the same wasp-waisted, large-breasted bodies. Although in one bleachers shot in the dance sequence, a bunch of inmates are shown with a little more variety in their looks and looking a little more haggard and rough.
  • Spell My Name With An S: Charise was an infamous example after this episode, as no fan could decide on what the spelling might be, and even the official sources conflicted for a while. While Adult Swim's official site used "Sharice", the season 1 DVD used "Charise". Season 3 settled on using the latter spelling when it came time to actually show her name spelled out in a scene.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Fatty not only gets his eye gouged out by a shoe, but loses his balance, falls, and is mowed down in a bloody mess by the Warden's car.
  • Visual Pun: After the Warden states that girls are just "hormonally insane vixens", Jailbot appears, flashing "H.I.V." on his screen (with the implication that he downloaded a virus from Nova).
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: Jared finally finds someone he can relate with in Charise, but the two are separated when the Mistress has to leave back to Ultraprison. The Warden even insists Jared's better off without a girlfriend.
  • You All Look Familiar: Combined with Stock Footage. A few particular Ultraprison inmate designs are duplicated several times for their establishing shot, as well as when Alice is depicted fighting a few off (on Warden's video screen).
    • One particular inmate (a blonde one with a high ponytail) appears to be duplicated in the line of marching women, leaving one copy of her towards the front and one towards the back.
    • The first shocked reaction shot of the male inmates (at the Ultraprison ship and inmates) includes a number of character models that are copy and pasted within the group. A number of these men are later recycled for another reaction shot in "Terrorarium".
    • A few character models are copy-pasted and recolored in the horrified reaction shot of the male inmates, occurring after the Ultraprison women are first bitten and start to go wild. One red-haired inmate with a mustache is given a brunet clone, while a black bald inmate is also duplicated and even given a third white recolor in the back of the group.
