Mario tries to buy a new phone plan from Swag at T-Mobile.

Mario goes to the T-Mobile phone store to update his phone's data plan to make international calls. Meanwhile, in a bid to outdo Chris and win Employee Of The Month, Swagmaster makes the mistake of selling Mario a military-based phone from which he inadvertently uses to launch a nuke headed towards the Mushroom Kingdom, forcing the plumber to stop the missile and get back home safely in an "experimental phone plan" suit with limited power.

  • Accidental Murder: Mario throws the nuke at Mars so it won't destroy the Earth. Unknown to him, he accidentally threw it at a colony of aliens worshipping a door.
  • And You Thought It Was a Game: Mario plays a tank game on Swag's military phone. Smash Cut to an actual Toad village, with the reveal that Mario is unknowingly controlling a real tank and destroying an innocent village. Then he presses the nuke button.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Swag advertises his military phone as enabling the user to take over the world, defeat their enemies, and make international calls. The last one is what excites Mario, given that it's the one thing he came in for in the first place.
  • Artistic License – Space: Mario's mech suit runs out of power in the middle of space, causing him to fall to the nearest planet. Space doesn't have gravity, so Mario should have just sat motionless in place.
  • Call-Back:
  • Disproportionate Retribution: When SMG4 finally stops doing his Enforced Plug, it's revealed Chris was moments away from shooting him.
  • Do Wrong, Right: Mario panics when he gets caught putting memes on the display phones and quickly tries fixing them, only for Swag to put a different meme on instead of getting mad at Mario.
  • Employee of the Month: Chris claims he'll win it since Swag is slacking off, causing Swag to suddenly snap and begin assisting Mario.
  • Enforced Plug: Parodied. While normally the channel features sponsorships at the beginning before the episodes, SMG4 actually starts promoting Shrek Online, a fictional game, in the middle of the episode. This weirds out Chris, who almost shoots him.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Mario usually doesn't care all that much about the destruction and carnage he causes in a video. But he's absolutely horrified upon realizing that he unwittingly launched nukes from Swag's phone, and immediately tries to find a way out of his predicament.
  • Fun with Foreign Languages: Mario uses Swag's phone to try ordering an "Italian spaghetti pizza" from the Italian militia. His bizarre order and strange dialect causes the militia to misinterpret his request and blow up the pizza shop instead.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: Initially, Swag doesn't care about his job at the phone store. But when Chris taunts him by saying he'll be winning Employee of the Month, Swag does his darndest to make sure he outdoes Chris.
  • Oh, Crap!: Mario panics when he realizes that he accidentally put everyone's lives in danger by launching nukes thanks to his new "phone".
  • Sequel Episode: It's revealed near the end that this is actually a sequel to Mario Gets His Pingas Stuck In a Car Door when Mario crashes into the Alien Planet as they are praying to a large door.
  • Serial Escalation: As per usual, given the title of the episode.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: After an adventure that dooms a planet to be swallowed by darkness, Mario forgot to upgrade his phone plan in the end. Mario can only scream in frustration after Luigi reminds him right as the video concludes.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The grand door on Mars uses the same model as the door to Kingdom Hearts from the first game. On top of that, when Luigi comes to save Mario from the cosmic horror within, the latter is floating supine in the darkness in the exact same manner as that series' protagonists do on the Game Over screen.
    • Luigi activates Advanced Flight Mode in order to go save Mario; which transforms his Phone into the 00 Gundam.
  • Transforming Mecha: Exaggerated. Luigi turns on "advanced flight mode" on his phone, causing it to suddenly transform into a Humongous Mecha suit.
