Continuing from the season one finale, Kevin becomes a national hero for arresting Dusty, and Paradise is rewarded by being given tons of amazing upgrades to the city, making it a cleaner and safer place for everybody. Meanwhile, Gina tries to break Dusty out of prison.
- The Alcatraz: Paradise Women's Penitentiary.
- Ass Shove: Female prisoners shove a bunch of mops up Dusty's ass.
- Bait-and-Switch: Has two example of this:
- At the beginning of the episode, what appears to be Dusty Marlowe, now in the form of a badass, heavily-tattooed prisoner doing pulls ups, turns out to be a completely different woman named Glenda, who's friends with Dusty, who's more or less, the same.
- Later, what appears to be a Machete in a partysub for Mrs Two-toes for killing Dusty, then turns out to be for whittling a toothbrush into a shank so she can stab him to death with it.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Thester breaks the fourth wall, to say that Brett Michaels got some publicity in their show.
- Chest of Medals: Kevin gets awarded with tons of medals to the point, where he gets covered from head to toe in medals. With no room left on his body, Randall puts an award on his crotch.
- Clear My Name: Gina knows that Dusty is an innocent man who was framed for a crime he didn't commit and searches high and low for proof of his innocence.
- Death Row: Dusty becomes this.
- Dropped a Bridge on Her: Mrs. Two-Toes is crushed by Dusty's bunk bed, when it breaks.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Thester brings Harvey Weinstein into The Legion of Dooooom but the Kingpin has to draw the line there and fire him because although they're evil villains, he doesn't want a sick rapist like him being on the team.
- Frame-Up: Dusty is framed for being the argyle meth kingpin.
- Great Escape: Gina tries multiple times to bust Dusty out of prison, but the attempts are so full of Epic Fail, they play out like something from a Roadrunner/Wile E. Coyote cartoon (as seen when she uses a rocket and some rope to get him out).
- Hellhole Prison: Paradise Women's Penitentiary is this but Dusty doesn't seem to care.
- High-Voltage Death: Dusty is punished by being given the electric couch (an electric chair for fat people).
- I Choose to Stay: Dusty refuses to leave the penitentiary claiming he loves serving his time, and breaks it in song form to Gina about why he doesn't want her to spring him.
- Identical Stranger: Glenda to Dusty.
- Killed Off for Real: Mrs. Two-Toes is crushed to death by Dusty's bunk bed breaking and falling on her.
- Legion of Doom: The Legion of Dooooom is introduced in this episode and it features one-time villains from the first season returning to cause more chaos.
- Minion with an F in Evil: Thester is introduced in this episode and right off the bat, we see
- New Tech Is Not Cheap: Paradise P.D. is given a bunch of fancy new technological upgrades, such as a helicopter, a robot cop, and a shit stick.
- Old Hero, New Pals: This episode introduces the new characters, Thester and Dobby.
- The Pollyanna: Dusty, when he's locked in the women's prison, couldn't be more delighted with his new life.Dusty: [Singing.] I love it in this women's penitentiary! Lucky, I got sentenced to a century!
- Previously on…: This episode begins with a brief recap of the last season.
- Prison Changes People: Subverted. What appears to be a heavily-tattooed, toughened up Dusty, only turns out to be a a different woman, who looks just like him.
- Time Skip: This season premiere takes place quite sometime after the last season's finale and lots of changes are mentioned to have happened in the past but never seen. Paradise has become a new and improved community with tons of technological and sanitary upgrades, Kevin has been a national hero for quite some time and is now covered in medals that we've never seen him earn, it is now public knowledge that Fitz is awake from his coma even though we've never seen him tell people that before, and Gina has been trying to bust Dusty out of prison for a while, even though this is the first we're being introduced to it.
- Villain Team-Up: At the end of the episode, Thester introduces the Legion of Dooooom, which includes the returns of plenty of villains from previous episodes, such as Frank and Jerry Flipperfist, Pedro Pooptooth, Edna Dorsaldigits, Puffy the Cigarette, and Pat Robertson, all working together to be evil.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Gina getting a kiss under the mistletoe from Dusty is never brought up again, despite her sideplot being all about busting Dusty out of jail.
