Jefferson County Middle School is hosting a Winter Break Awards show - shortened to the WiBAs - and Milo is nominated for one of the awards, but he's not aware for which one it is. On top of that, he arrives late due to Murphy's Law shenanigans, worrying Amanda.
Meanwhile, Diogee joins officers Fuller and Hastings on a search for Zippy, the world's fastest koala, who has dognapped their K-9 officer Rex.

- Call-Back: Remember in Picture Day, that Zippy hijacked a police dog after being arrested and escaping the police station? Well, it's an important plot point now.
- Zack being into interpretive dance appears to be a weird Call-Forward to Cast Party.
- Catchphrase: This episode introduces Amanda's equivalent to Melissa's "Boom!" In Amanda's case, it's "Booyah!"
- Determinator: Lydia was supposed to join Zack for an interpretive dance intermission, but she had gotten extremely sick due to food poisoning. Despited this, she still attended the school evening for the interpretive dance and attempts to shrug off all the symptoms so she can get out there... despite herself being in poor condition and physically unfit to do so.
- Milo's award turns out to be for Greatest Perseverance, which is evident not only through the entire series, but even this specific episode itself.
- Failed a Spot Check: Milo is stick in the school auditorium's basement and attempts the evening to climb out of the hole he fell through, then a staircase leading to the exit. When Amanda later rescues him from a fall, she tells him there's an elevator in the basement too.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: A sharp observer can actually spot on Milder's card what the award was that Milo had won, before it's revealed to him (and the viewers) at the end of the episode.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: At the start of the episode, Zack praises the school for organizing an award show to honor its students, comparing it to a TV show... "you know, late in the season when the writers are tired".
- Rescue Romance: Amanda catches Milo from a fall, Bridal Carry style.

This time a lot of emotional support from Amanda, who is extremely excited for Milo winning the award, worried about his absence, one of the few people (aside from Milo's family) searching for him after the award show, saves Milo from a fall, presents him the award in the style of the award show, and kissing him on the cheek for a second time.
- Slow-Motion Pass-By: Used by Zippy to taunt the police officers. Even his Leitmotif goes slow-mo!
- Smooch of Victory: Amanda kisses Milo on the cheek again, after her receives the award from her,Amanda: Booyah.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Despite being there at the school alongside Milo, Amanda and Zack, Melissa has seemingly disappeared halfway through the episode.
