Kenan wants to get his driver's license against his parents' orders, so he has Marc give him driving lessons. Unfortunately, the driving test is the same day his science project is due.
- Borrowed Catchphrase: Roger shouts Kenan's "Why?!" in a Skyward Scream after the latter crashes into him with Marc's car.
- Downer Ending: Roger forbids Kenan from driving a car and has to take a bus.

- Kel made a science project that turns grape soda into orange soda. Even Kenan was impressed.
- He also sits Kenan's written driver's test when the latter is still fast asleep from the previous night, and ends up scoring a perfect 100% without having studied for it.
- Genre Savvy: Roger and Sheryl know Kenan is up to something. While Kenan tries to make up a story so that they won't be suspicious, Roger goes directly to Kel for answers.
- Hypocritical Humor: After Kel tells the Rockmores that Marc got his driver's licence, Kenan tells him that he can handle this himself. Then he starts jumping and ranting like a five year old.
- Incest Subtext: Chris tells Kel and Marc that people thought his mother was his girlfriend, which understandably leaves Kel disgusted.Chris: So anyway, then they thought that mother was my girlfriend, and I said, "No, she's just dressed that way."Kel: Ew!
- Oh, Crap!: Kenan jumps in panic after realizing he hasn't finished his science project because he was too busy preparing for his drivers test. Also when he realizes he accidentally crashed into his father with Marc's car.
- Rapid-Fire "No!": Roger retorts to this when Kenan asks for a driver's license.Kenan: Well, since we're on the subject, what do you say?Roger: No, no, no! Absolutely not, no!Kenan: Is that a yes?
- Too Dumb to Live: Kel covers Kenan's eyes while he is driving. Kenan responds by flicking him in the eye.
