Release Date: August 28, 1999

Kenan arranges a movie date with Caitlin, but must do a make-up movie date with Sharla at the same night and same place. Kenan then gets trapped another movie date orchestrated by Kel, so now he must prevent all three dates from knowing each other.

  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Kenan's dialogue in the outro after everyone finds out his secret.
Kenan: Sharla won't talk to me and Caitlin's whole family hates my guts, and my hands still smell like popcorn butter.
  • The Atoner: Kenan wants to make things right with Sharla by taking her on a movie date after failing to meet up with her on their previous date. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, this doesn't work out well.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When Kel is screaming at the top of his lungs, it seems as if he's calling Caitlin from far away. Turns out she was already in the store.
  • Fiction Isn't Fair: In real life, Kenan and Kel would have been kicked out the theater for disrupting movies and wreaking havoc. Since this show applies to Rule of Funny, however, this doesn't end up the case.
  • Idiot Houdini: Kel somehow never gets thrown out of the movie theater for his antics.
  • Movie-Theater Episode: This episode has Kenan and Kel at a movie with the former's dates (one of which was arranged by the latter).
  • Punctuated Pounding: When Kenan begs the ticket guy to let him see Kung Fu Rabbi, he begins to slam his hand on the desk out of impatience.
Kenan: Just give me the tickets, man!!
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The title is a reference to Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Kenan has been calm enough dealing with Yovanda, but when she still fails to understand that he wants nothing to do with her, he finally snaps and tells her she needs to leave.
Kenan: Yovanda, look. Let's get something straight right now. My name is not Alphonse and I am not on a date with you!
Yovanda: Look, Alphonse. I don't have time for your little games. I am this close to leaving
Kenan: GOOD!! Go away, man, please! Ain't the number four bus leaving in two minutes?
  • Sassy Black Woman: Yovanda is constantly loud-mouthed and sassy, which is best shown when she back-sasses Sharla after the latter shushes at her.
  • Say My Name: Yovanda loudly calls for "Alphonse" (Kenan) in the outro.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Kenan flees from the movie theater after Caitlin and Sharla find out about each other.
  • Selective Enforcement: Even though Yovanda was screaming on the top of her lungs, no one bats an eye. However, whenever Kenan and Kel talk at normal volume, they reprimand them instead. Probably because Yovanda looks threatening enough to not be messed with.
  • Selective Obliviousness: Kenan keeps trying to tell Yovanda he's not on a date with her, but Yovanda keeps refusing to take no for an answer.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: Kel tries to assure Sharla that Yovanda is Alphonse's date, not Kenan's. Sharla simply goes along with it.
  • Unwanted Assistance: Kel tries to help Kenan by arranging another date for him so he won't have to deal with Sharla and Caitlin. Unfortunately, this causes things to become more complicated for Kenan.
