The group visits Takoyaki Fumin, their favourite childhood restaurant, to celebrate Kanon’s recovery. Takeru, however, is more focused on how to connect with the Heroes than celebrating. Makoto is having Eyecon problems of his own as well, with the Houdini Eyecon refusing to let him use its power.
Meanwhile, Javel - who was previously thought to have been defeated by Takeru - seemingly revives. He appears in front of Makoto. The two fight against each other but in the end Javel kidnaps Kanon.
Makoto must use Houdini and master its power in order to save his sister!
- Car Fu: Houdini continuously tries to ram over Makoto in Machine Hoodie form until Makoto is able to take back the bike.
- Damsel in Distress: Kanon gets kidnapped by Javel
- Fusion Dance: Javel fuse himself with a Gundari to take control of it and make it stronger.
- It's Personal: Makoto truly believes that he has to be the one to defeat Javel to save Kanon.
- This Is Something He's Got to Do Himself: When Makoto explains that he must be the one to beat Javel and save Kanon so that he feels worthy fighting alongside Takeru, he stands back when Makoto is struggling against Houdini and the second battle with Javel, at least until Specter gets stuck under rubble.
- A Twinkle in the Sky: Yurusen gets blasted away by a blast from Javel-Gundari, though oddly they use a *thonk* sound effect for it.
