With an unexpected companion in the ghost of Bryce, Monkey arrives in Tokyo to hunt down the members of the conspiracy that led to the death of his tribe.
- Conveyor Belt o' Doom: After being knocked out by the old woman, Monkey wakes up tied to a conveyor belt and heading towards a saw blade.
- Country Mouse: The moment he arrives in Tokyo, Monkey is quickly overwhelmed by the bright lights and loud noises of the city.
- He Cleans Up Nicely: Once Monkey finds and dons the suit, Bryce admits that it works for him.
- Outside Ride: Monkey travels to Tokyo by clinging to the top of the bullet train.
- Pop-Cultural Osmosis Failure: Bryce’s comparison of himself to Patrick Swayze and Monkey to Demi Moore in Ghost goes right over Monkey’s head. Same with the comparison to Slimer and Venkman, Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder, and the rotting chick in the bathtub and Jack Nicholson. Justified as Monkey lives on a snowy mountain away from humans and their movies.
