Series Premiere. Eccentric hitman Bryce McHenry is summoned to Tokyo, Japan for a high-profile political assassination. However, he is soon after betrayed by his clients and forced to take refuge with a tribe of macaques - one of whom does not fully trust him.

  • Establishing Character Moment: Bryce is introduced arriving at Tokyo Narita Airport, shown skillfully tossing a miniature beer bottle into a trash can from an impressive distance… and then oversharing a bit with the customs agent. And the limo driver soon after.
  • Face Death with Dignity: Bryce is actually pretty calm when the hit squad does him in, not panicking and winking at Monkey.
  • Noodle Incident: The last time Bryce was in Japan, he murdered the chairman of a car company. No further details are given.
  • Properly Paranoid: Monkey clashes with the alpha of his tribe over their decision to take in Bryce, fearing he is a danger to them - that he will bring others like him. To his credit, a hit squad soon tracks him down to kill him, and then the tribe soon after.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: After his tribe is slaughtered, Monkey quickly takes up Bryce’s guns and unloads them into the hit squad.
  • Wham Shot: In The Stinger, as Monkey waits at the train station, he is soon confronted by Bryce’s ghost.
