Adelgund falling against Nyarai.

Nyarai has defeated Adelgund after unleashing her full strength, and is crowned the new Masato Champion. Cookie confronts the man responsible for the events of the night. In the aftermath, Muko makes an important decision.

  • Badass Teacher: Shortly after retiring from furry fighting, Freydar became the trainer of the Cyclone Crushers, which improved their battle performance a lot.
  • Bad Boss: Besides the Face–Heel Turn he forced on Peki, it turns out Dinedon sold her and Adelgund out by putting them in a situation where they and Cookie would lose while Shun and Nyarai won (as long as he got paid).
  • Briefcase Full of Money: It turns out Shun bribed Dinedon before the match to ensure the fight went exactly as planned.
  • Career-Ending Injury: Cookie tells Muko that Freydar got an injury in her last fight and will be rendered blind if she ever fights again, especially if she receives a head injury.
  • Cherry Tapping: Nyarai gives Adelgund a Finishing Stomp to the face after she lands on the mat. However, it's clear that Adelgund was knocked out from Nyarai's last kick and she only did it to do a victory pose.
  • Disappointed in You: Muko is relieved that Cookie didn't kill Freydar, but she's still disappointed that she lied to her and kept such an important secret after forming a friendship.
  • Downer Beginning: Adelgund is hospitalized and loses the title to Nyarai. She, Shun, and the Cyclone Crushers get away with their cheating. To make matters worse, Cookie finds out Dinedon betrayed them.
  • Downer Ending: Muko quits furry fighting, which sends Cookie into the Despair Event Horizon now that Nyarai betrayed her for Shun and Muko left her.
  • Dreaming of Times Gone By: The chapter ends with a flashback of Adelgund and Peki on a date at the start of their relationship, confirming that their bond is truly gone.
  • Finishing Stomp: Nyarai ends the fight by stomping on Adelgund's face. However, it's clear that Adelgund was already unconscious from the kick of the previous chapter so this comes as Cherry Tapping for a victory pose.
  • The Gift: According to Cookie, Freydar's natural talent was so great that she could have defeated Donkizari if her career had not ended prematurely.
  • The Glomp: Jowdie happily hugs Nyarai after she gets the Masato Championship.
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: Muko chastises herself for her poor performance at the fight and for her superficial motives to join furry fighting.
  • Kick the Dog: Besides kicking Adelgund's jaw hard enough to break it at the end of the last chapter, Nyarai steps on her face just because she wanted to pose for her victory.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Adelgund's fate at the end of the match reflects what she did to Peki in the past and present: she's disgraced after a forced Face–Heel Turn that she didn't mean to take while Peki gets to be seen as a hero, she suffers broken limbs (two broken arms and a jaw against Peki's broken legs and flipper), and she loses the championship belt that she was going to sacrifice to be with her.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Muko is surprisingly introspective in the final scene. She's less mad about Cookie's past than disappointed at her for hiding it. She chastises herself for her selfish motives to get into furry fighting. And she also recognizes that everyone was better than her in the fight. This is what causes her to quit furry fighting in the end.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: Muko feels inferior to Adelgund, Peki, and Nyarai because of her shameful performance in the ring and for her poor motives to become a Combagal.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Miho, the newest member of the Exe-Cutie-Ves, refers to Adelgund as a butch when getting paid by Shun, as a way to insult her for her masculine appearance.
  • Tragic Keepsake: Muko keeps the collar she was given as Deputy Muko as a reminder that she couldn't save Adelgund.
  • Wham Line: Muko quits furry fighting out of shame of failing to protect Adelgund and of failing to perform as a fighter compared to her, Peki, and Nyarai.
  • What Is This Feeling?: Nyarai doesn't know what to feel when the audience cheers for her after her victory against Adelgund. She only enjoys her victory after Shun encourages her.
