The Doctor from Doctor Who rap against Marvel Comics' Doctor Strange in a battle between time-traveling doctors.
This rap battle contains examples of:
- Innocently Insensitive: Played with. The Doctor claims his "shaky topic" line isn't meant to be an insult toward Strange's car crash unlike his previous lines. But in the very same line, he definitely purposefully calls the joke an "accident" that hopefully "lands well".
- Monster from Beyond the Veil: The Doctor brings up how Strange's brother was brought Back from the Dead, only to return as a vampire.
- Pretender Diss: The Doctor dismisses Doctor Strange as a phony Tony Stark.
- Race Lift: The Doctor disses the "whitewash" that happened to The Ancient One in Doctor Strange (2016).
- Shout-Out:
- At the end of The Doctor's first verse, Strange is called Series/Sherlock, as a reference to them sharing an actor.
- Strange claims he has the best rhymes since TechN9ne.
- The Doctor disparages the Time Stone as just Adam Sandler's remote from Click.
- Strictly Formula: Strange says that even without viewing all the Alternate Timelines, he knows Doctor Who will keep following the same formula.This limey time travels and swoops a companion
Uses plot armor to save the whole planet
Til this man panics and leaves them abandoned
and then he gets damaged so they bring in a stand-in - Time Machine: TARDIS appears and The Doctor claims it's much fancier than Doctor Strange's Time Stone. While it's appearance is accompanied with a time-warp visual effect, no actual time travel happens here.
- Virgin-Shaming: Strange makes fun of The Doctor's screwdriver and how "no one has the drive to ever screw" him. The Doctor rebuts this by bringing up his wife River Song.
- Wangst: In-universe, The Doctor finds Strange's angst after his car accidents annnoying, calling it "whiny why-me wibbly-wobbly".
- You Can't Fight Fate: The Doctor's history of this is mocked by Strange, in contrast to Strange being a Time Master.
