King Argit exploits his new friend to secure his ill-gotten position.
With the help of Andreas, Argit has become the new leader of the Forever Knights. But when the knights turn on their new leader, Ben must come to Andreas' rescue.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: When Kevin calls out Argit for his blatant manipulation of Andreas' trust in him, Argit fires back with a question that illustrates how easy it was for him to take advantage of Kevin's blind trust in the past.
Kevin: You're a dirtbag. Just because somebody's dumb enough to trust you, I—
Argit: Do you mean Andreas or you?
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Sir Dagonet sentences Andreas to death purely for setting foot on Earth. Argit implies that the others will receive the same sentence.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Argit thought it was a good idea to blackmail a Forever Knights castle with the help of Andreas. It actually worked for a short while, then a superior was sent to restore order.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Despite Kevin being friendly with Argit in the past, and enjoys working with him on get-rich-quick schemes, he's disgusted with Argit treating Andreas like a commodity to make money off of, especially after his Heroic Sacrifice.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: If one looks closely, the Knight complaining that Ben 10 flavours only has 9 souvenir cups is right. No Chromastone cups are seen.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: Jimmy Jones turns out to play a World of Warcraft stand-in with one of the Forever Knights.
  • Irony: There's a certain tragedy that Andreas had nothing but loyalty and devotion towards Argit, who only regarded him as a walking meal ticket. Meanwhile, he had only just become friends with our heroes, and they're the ones who not only believe Andreas deserved better than to be manipulated, but acknowledged his Heroic Sacrifice.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: A rather cruel example towards the end. When Andreas sacrifices his own life to protect Argit, for an instant, Argit looks legitimately concerned for his loyal servant's well-being. Once the dust settles, he even starts digging the rubble, seemingly to look for him. But this next line makes it clear Argit is selfish through and through:
  • Karma Houdini: Dagonet and his troops teleport out and escape any punishment for trying to execute Andreas.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall:
    • One of the kids buying Ben-themed smoothies complains about how disappointing the Alien X smoothie was.
    • One of Jimmy’s conspiracies is that the network puts out one bad episode of a cartoon every week to sell toys. Now what could that also apply to?
  • Manipulative Bastard: Argit was this towards Andreas, taking full advantage of his innocence and trust to get him to do whatever he asks for his own selfish gain.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Andreas virtually sacrificed his life to protect Argit, as a testament of his unconditional love towards his master. And what does Argit do? He mourns that he's lost all the money he had in the castle. And it doesn't help that at the end of the day Agreggor finds and captures him whilst Andreas is too weakened to fight back or run away.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Kevin and Gwen give one to Argit for his manipulation of Andreas, especially when he makes it clear he's more worried he's lost the riches he had rather than the fact he just lost a loyal friend.
Kevin: He trusted you! He loved you! And what did you do? You used him! You used his feelings for you, and… now he's gone.
Argit: Sometimes, I just don't get you, Kevin. None of you.
    Gwen: No, you wouldn't.
  • The Sociopath: Argit takes advantage of Andreas' innocence to get him to work for him, and after Andreas makes a Heroic Sacrifice to save him and Ben's team, he’s more concerned with the money he lost in the process and honestly doesn't seem to understand why Kevin would be disgusted with him.
  • There Was a Door: The Forever Knights attack a Mr. Smoothie where Ben Tennyson was at by blowing up a wall: when there was a perfectly fine double-wide Glass door right next to the hole they made. Ben rightfully points this out to them.
    There's a door, right there!

The Forever Knights probably wanted to all go in formation instead of one-at-a-time.

How well does it match the trope?
