Annoyed by the incessant caroling that foiled his latest plan for world domination, Brain decides to thieve Christmas by creating a popular toy that is simple, pointless, and incredibly irritating, and he uses Pinky as his inspiration to produce a toy in his image.

Tropes:

  • Anyone Remember Pogs?: Brain presents Pinky with the three “most commercially successful toys of all time”: the slinky, Silly Putty, the yo-yo, the hula hoop, and the fidget spinner.
  • Are You Pondering What I'm Pondering?:
Pinky: I think so Brain, but where am I supposed to get you FIVE GOLDEN RIIIIINGS in this economy?
Pinky: I think so Brain, but perhaps too high of a JavaScript for my base code? (Brain: "Too smart.")
Pinky: I think so Brain, but if we evolved from monkeys, how can there still be monkeys? (Brain: "Too stupid.")
Pinky: I think so Brain, but didn’t we already do a Christmas-based plot in the Emmy award winning special "A Pinky and the Brain Christmas"? (Brain: "Too meta!")
Pinky: I think so Brain, but if love is all we need, why do I still have to go to the bathroom?
  • Christmas Episode: Sick of the constant Christmas carols, the Brain changes his mission from taking over the world to putting a stop to Christmas.
  • Christmas Songs: A couple were sung in this segment, including Pinky’s version of “Deck the Halls” called, appropriately, “Deck the Narfs”.
  • Clothes for Christmas Cringe: Dot’s variable verse in the theme song is “Socks again-y!”
  • Counting to Potato: When Brain asks Pinky if he knows how much hard work he just ruined, Pinky answers “6?” but holds up three fingers.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Brain has one when he realizes Pinky possesses all three of the qualities for the most successful toy.
Brain: Great Caesar's ghost, that’s it! Pinky, you are the most simple, pointless, and incredibly irritating thing in all existence!
  • Evil Laugh: Brain does one when he gets his Poity Pinky toy to work, punctuated by Dramatic Thunder.
  • The Grinch: Brain hates Christmas carols so much that he actually sets aside his plans to take over the world in order to put a stop to them.
  • Hard-Work Montage: Of Brain making his Pinky toy.
  • I Can't Believe I'm Saying This: Brain remarks that he never expected to tell Pinky that he needs his help.
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: A reference to How the Grinch Stole Christmas!.
  • Special Edition Title: The theme song for this episode features Snowy Sleigh Bells as snow falls in the background of the title sequence.
  • To Be Continued: This part of the story ends with this phrase and it’s continued in the third and final segment of the episode.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: To How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, right down to the title.
  • Wink "Ding!": The Pinky toy does this when he’s Breaking the Fourth Wall and references their "Emmy Award-winning Christmas special, 'A Pinky and the Brain Christmas'", from their spin-off series.

Disappointed to see that there are no presents under their tree, The Warners venture to the North Pole only to find that Santa does not want to fulfill his annual duties. So the Warners sing about why no one else could do the job like him, and Santa gives in and heads out on his sleigh to deliver the gifts with the Warners happily accompanying him.

Tropes:

  • Badass Santa: This Santa has been working out and he’s RIPPED.
  • Chimney Entry: Appropriately, how the Warners enter Santa’s house.
  • Christmas Episode: When the Warners wake up to find no presents under their tree, they travel to the North Pole and realize that Santa has given up on Christmas.
  • Christmas Songs: “We Could Try to Do It, Santa”
  • Continuity Nod: Yakko references Hello Nurse and Minerva’s absence from the reboot.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: Some of the food in Santa’s house includes “oat nog”, “probiotic figgy pudding”, and “improbable Christmas ham”.
  • How Can Santa Deliver All Those Toys?: The Warners tell Santa that they can’t do all of the impossible things he does on Christmas Eve without the help of his magic.
  • Human Mail: The Warners mail themselves to Santa in order to get their presents.
  • Leaving Food for Santa: In his verse of the song, Wakko points out how ginormous they would be if they ate all the milk and cookies that Santa does.
  • The Parody Before Christmas: The beginning and ending of the episode are narrated in rhyme, in a spoof of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.
  • Saving Christmas: Feeling fed up with all his hard work on Christmas going underappreciated, Santa gives up on the holiday. It’s now up to the Warners to convince him to deliver all the toys and make sure that kids don’t go without Christmas this year.
  • Subbing for Santa: Santa tries to get the Warners to do this, but they pester him until he agrees to take over Christmas again as long as they shut up.
  • True Meaning of Christmas: When the Warners realize they didn’t get any Christmas presents, Wakko says that it’s time for them to realize that the true meaning of Christmas isn’t presents but “love, generosity, and goodwill to all”...then all three of the siblings burst out laughing.
  • Urine Trouble: Santa catches Prancer about to pee on his Christmas tree.
