"Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?
We got some work to do now
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?
We need some help from you now!
Come on, Scooby-Doo
I see you...
Pretendin' you got a silver!
You're not foolin' me, 'cause I can see...
The way you shake and shiver!
You know we got a mystery to solve
So Scooby-Doo, be ready for your act
Don't hold back!
And Scooby-Doo, if you'll come through
You're gonna have yourself a Scooby Snack!
That's a fact!
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, here are you
You're ready and you're willin'
If we can count on you, Scooby-Doo
I know we'll catch that villain!"
We got some work to do now

— Lyrics to the theme song to Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
Shaggy: This is tied for the most terrifying day of my life!
Velma: Tied with what?
Shaggy: Every other freaking day of my life!
Velma: Tied with what?
Shaggy: Every other freaking day of my life!
— Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed
"You never know where your next scare is coming from. You've just gotta find the courage to face it."
—Shaggy, Scooby Doo and the Goblin King (just before a costumed Scooby scares him)
And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dog!
— Every Scooby-Doo villain ever

1972-1973: Hey! We have a real budget now! Let’s use it to hire movie stars to make cameos!
1988-1991: Let’s give parody and quality animation a whirl
1998-2005: Guys. Guys. Guys. What if… We put actual effort into this?
2002-2005: That was haaaaaaaaard. Let’s just bank off the previous movies.
2006-2008: WHAT THE FUCK IS A SCOOBY?
2010-2013: Let’s reinvent ourselves here. Let’s break the mold. Let’s focus on story lines and character development with less focus on the monster of the week and more focus on an over arching storyline.
