Nightmare Fuel / SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

• The Jelly Makers; large blobs that spawn regular jelly enemies. Large pulsing jelly blobs with a single eye and a mouth full of sharp teeth...and another mouth and another pair of eyes... and some more eyes. Oh yeah, and some visible limbs such as hands and feet also composed of jelly. Battle's Duplicatotrons at least look like machines that were built specifically to create robots, not some sort of amorphous monstrosity straight out of a David Cronenberg parody.
• There's also the appropriately-named Spooky Jelly which exclusively appear in Halloween Rock Bottom. Jelly creatures that vaguely resemble Anglerfish. Unlike other Jelly creatures, they are almost nigh-impossible to kill. The only way to dispose of them is to sneak up close behind them and scare them. Run into their line of sight however and they will immediately chase you down to try and take a bite out of you. However, the game doesn't teach you this until your third encounter with them. In fact, the encounter before you learn "Boo Scare" has a tutorial that forces you to hide to avoid being attacked, which is especially nerve-wracking on a first playthrough.
• Most of the Gross-Up Close-Up shots in the game are occasionally funny, but one of said close-ups however is anything but. After meeting up with Larry in Pirate Goo Lagoon, he will lament about how he had been told that he wasn't "pirate material" due to having an allergy to eyepatches. Cue the game cutting to a lovely shot of one of Larry's infected eyes, reddened and full of hives leaking green pus.
• King Gary, the boss of the Halloween version of Rock Bottom, is Gary in a sugar rush and with a massive size. To make matters worse, unlike the other characters SpongeBob rescues, Gary doesn't go back to his normal form right away and it's only after a side-quest when Gary goes back to normal.
• Glovey Glove really has it out for SpongeBob as the sponge himself finds out when he enters Jelly Glove World and Patrick suddenly goes missing. When the Cosmic Shake ended up separating Glove World from Bikini Bottom, the park's visitors ended up vanishing, leaving Glovey all alone in the jelly infested wasteland, eventually causing him to go absolutely insane and kidnap Patrick. When SpongeBob eventually reaches and confronts Glovey, the latter makes it clear that he's not going down without a fight and sends Jelly Creatures straight towards the sponge. The fact alone that Glovey straight up attempts to KILL SpongeBob over a (admittedly destructive) mistake is just chilling.
• Jelly Squidward, the final boss of the game whom is much larger and even monstrous looking than King Gary with red skin, gigantic tentacles and a very deranged look of pure rage.
