  • A common complaint among those who play the game is how most of the music in the game is reused from the show instead of having its own fully original soundtrack like the previous similar mainline games in the series.
  • A common criticism found in many professional reviews is how the gameplay hasn't evolved significantly since Battle, even reusing some assets from the game like with the tikis.
• No Problem with Licensed Games: Being built on the code for the remake of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom certainly helps. Although there are complaints about it being too similar to its predecessor, it is still a fairly competent game in its own right with a lot of unique world themes and Call Backs to the show itself.
