Eventually Aki learns why Momo was an icy recluse, initially, and strives to help her heal those emotional wounds.
Sheep Princess In Wolf's Clothing is a fluffy Yuri manga by Mito, focusing on the relationships between beast folk. It has nothing to do with the Sheep in Wolf's Clothing trope, despite the similar name.
This manga provides examples of:
- Big Eater: Despite being physically quite small, Kiku is described as having a bottomless stomach, which Aki is glad for after ordering the greatest omelet rice off the secret menu and realizing that it's called that because it's huge. Kiku happily devours it, despite it being bigger than her head.
- Boob-Based Gag: There are a few comedic scenes involving the size difference between Momo's bust and those of her butlers.
- The interlude illustration between chapters 1 and 2 have a naked Aki looking at her and Momo's bras and thinking "W-we're completely different sizes...!" with Momo's cup size being about three times Aki's.
- In the bonus chapter at the end of the second volume, Momo and Kiku, who otherwise have similar builds, try each other's clothes on. Momo's dress fits well on Kiku, aside from being loose in the chest, but Momo cannot close the top buttons on Kiku's butler uniform because her bust is too big, devastating poor Kiku.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: Momo apparently defrosted quite rapidly from her previous "frigid sheep princess" attitude after Aki became her tutor.
- Did They or Didn't They?: Aki wakes up at the end of the first chapter, to find that Momo coming to her bedroom and seducing her wasn't a dream when she finds Momo's crown on her bed. The next chapter reveals that they didn't, because Aki fell asleep and Momo panicked and ran off, wrapped in nothing but a sheet.
- Godiva Hair: Whenever Momo or Aki is shown topless from the front, her long hair hides her nipples, while her genitals are hidden by her legs.
- Hidden Buxom: For much of the first chapter, Momo's bust size is downplayed or de-emphasized, until she strips down to her underwear in front of Aki, trying to seduce her.
- Interspecies Romance: A romance between a wolfa and a sheepa makes up the main plot.
- Little Bit Beastly all the characters have animal ears and a tail, which are fully functional. In fact, an easy way to tell what Aki is feeling is to just watch her tail, which is the entire joke behind the third bonus comic in volume 2.
- Long List: Sakaki has two giant Wall of Text speech balloons about what she likes about Kiku, and even they're not quite enough for her to say what she like about her crush.
- The Quiet One: Sakaki doesn't talk much, as Aki points out after the former goes on a long, detailed list of what she likes about Kiku.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Aki's coworkers Sakaki Nanaumi and Kiku Hanayagi, who are very close friends who are probably crushing on each other, have this dynamic. Kiku, is the bright, friendly, chatty, bubbly red to Sakaki's quiet, stoic, aloof blue.
- Secret Relationship: How the relationship between Momo and Aki starts off, because a royal getting involved with her servant would certainly cause a scandal. Especially because said servant is a woman.
- The Shut-In: Momo rarely left her room before meeting Aki, and still cannot leave the castle even if she wanted to, which she mostly doesn't anyway. She gets around this for a date with Aki by having the date completely inside the castle. Later, she gets to leave the castle with Aki by disguising herself as a wolfa, under the cover of picking up a dress.
- Unequal Pairing: A princess and her female butler are the main pairing, and Aki, the butler, doesn't hesitate to point out how inappropriate a romance between them is, in spite of how insistent Momo is.
