Which to choose? note

"What do I do... I... don't know which one is love!"
Soraike Mei

I Don't Know Which One Is Love (どれが恋かがわからない, Dore ga Koi Ka ga Wakaranai) is a Yuri manga by Tamamushi Oku (who previously drawn Cheerful Amnesia) that began serialization in monthly magazine Comic Cune in 2021 and is currently ongoing. It has been licensed by Yen Press for English-language markets.

After her Senpai fell in love with someone else, Soraike Mei swore to have her college debut and find a girlfriend. There she attracts the affections of shy Riri, sultry Maria, cool Minato, lascivious Karin and temperamental Kaoru. Now, Mei must decide which one is for her.

The first chapter has been adapted to a voice comic by Kadokawa and features Nijisanji's Sukoya Kana as the voice of Mei note . The voice comic can be viewed here.

I Don't Know Which One Is Love provides examples of:

  • Bait-and-Switch Comment: For a moment, Chiharu sounds as though she's about to report that things are going badly between herself and her boyfriend, but then she says they're going quite well.
  • Balanced Harem: The harem is very even and no one in particular has an edge.
  • Bifauxnen: Minato looks like a handsome young man, to the delight of Mei and Minato’s admirers.
  • Bowdlerise: The voice comic has three distinct edits.
  • Buxom Beauty Standard: Mei certainly thinks so about Riri.
  • Chick Magnet: Mei gets a harem of five girls strong on her first day of college.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Most of Mei's harem are not interested in sharing Mei.
  • Debut Queue: Each girl is introduced in order before getting their own chapters.
  • Downer Beginning: Highly downplayed given the lighthearted nature of the story, but Mei is rather hurt when her crush gets a boyfriend, and this motivates her to get a girlfriend in university.
  • Harem Genre: A Yuri Genre version of it.
  • Hot Teacher: Maria is certainly this to Mei.
  • Incompatible Orientation: In the Downer Beginning, Mei realizes her crush is not into women.
  • Red Baron: Karin is known as the "Kiss Demon" for self-explanatory reasons.
  • Themed Harem: The theme being the five senses. Each girl in the harem finds Mei attractive for different reasons:
    • Riri enjoys physical contact with her (touch).
    • Maria likes observing how Mei behaves, especially around women (sight).
    • Minato likes the sound of Mei's voice (hearing).
    • Karin is a "kissing demon" who falls for Mei after sharing a kiss with her (taste).
    • Kaoru finds Mei's scent to be attractive (smell).
  • Undressing the Unconscious: The first time Mei falls asleep in her dorm, she wakes up naked with Kaoru cuddling her. Kaoru explains that she hates the smell of the soap Mei uses to wash her clothes, so she removed them — which of course doesn't explain why Kaoru was in her bed at all.
