I don't like to take games too seriously.

Dacoobers is a Youtuber whose content focuses mainly on Source-engine games, primarily Garry's Mod, but he has also made videos on games such as Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. Most of his content consists of either trolling on game servers, or exploring strange user-made content (such as his popular "We play X but it's cursed" series).

• Black Comedy Rape: In the intro for Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps, Matt uses a Rape SWEP to do this. Understandably, RJ isn't too happy about it.
• Brick Joke: In Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps, Dacoobers and his friends pretend to be scared when a notebook page appears on the screen, and are completely unimpressed with the actual jumpscares in the map. At the end of the video, said page appears again, with even more screaming.
• Faux Horrific: When Dacoobers is jumpscared in the map flash_maze in Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps, he lets out an obviously fake scream. This is contrasted in a gag where he punches a hole in his screen, referencing this skit from Saturday Night Live.
• Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Played for Laughs in TF2 in Gmod was a bad idea:
  Ratlobber: My freaked up mind is coming up with so many interesting bits.
  Dacoobers: Dude, you're so freaked up, dude, go freak yourself.
  Multiple: Damn.
  Dacoobers: You motherfreaker. If I ever see you in real life, I'm going to freak you up.
• Height Insult: In TF2 in Gmod was a bad idea, when Richter is noticably shorter than everyone else:
  Richter: Alright, Dacoobers, it's time we talk about my payment for carrying all your GMod videos.
  Dacoobers (held at gunpoint): Oh my god, Richter, it's time that we talk about your height. It's time that we talk about- (laughter) freaking Peter Dinklage is gonna ball on this dude, oh my god.
  Ratlobber: He's so small!
  Richter (after using PAC3 to increase his height): Alright, I just got back from Guatemala, and cause you made fun of me, I got my height extending surgery, so you guys are not gonna make fun of me anymore.
• "Home Alone" Antics: In We played gm_construct but it's cursed, a quick gag edit of Home Alone plays. It features Osama Bin Laden as Kevin and Seal Team 6 as the burglars.
• Insistent Terminology: Richter refers to the default Half-Life 2 vehicles as the Mudskipper and the Scout Car (what they are officially called), instead of calling them the Airboat and the Jeep (what they are referred to in the GMod spawn menu as).
• No Fair Cheating: Averted. In the first map in Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps, RJ sarcastically suggests that the answer to a code is to press V (which is the GMod bind that allows the player to noclip). Him and everyone else make jokes about it being the correct solution, with Dennis being the only one to try and actually solve the puzzle (which he struggles at doing).
• Politically Correct History: The loading screen for JaggedSpringsRP in Acting too wild in Wild West RP says this:
  *This server is set in 1905, however we do not tolerate racism.
• Running Gag:
  • A sexualized version of Richter's profile picture, first seen in More Weird Gmod Saves.
  • The U.S. Military being spawned in on the map.
  • Chicago deep-dish pizza.
  • "Yo, what is this place?" from Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps.
• Saving Christmas: Both of his Christmas special videos start out with this basic plot.
• Shout-Out: In GMod videos, Dennis and Matt use playermodels of a Lego Battle Droid and the purple Teletubby, respectively.
  • In the video The Among Us in Gmod Experience, Blue's username is "This Is The Greatest PLAN".
  • In Asking my fans to make Gmod maps and regretting it, Dacoobers compares a map with a pizza-making minigame to Pizzatron 3000 from Club Penguin.
  • While in an elevator in We play gm_construct but it's cursed, RJ says "Remember, no Russian".
  • In Bad Gmod Deathrun Maps, Gamercat tries to play the map in reverse, "just like Tow Mater".
  • In Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps, the "Yo, what is this place?" soundbite is edited into a clip from The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
• Spot the Impostor: At one point in We play gm_flatgrass but it's cursed, both Jeong and Dennis have equipped the Vladimir Putin playermodel. Dennis is able to convince Dacoobers that he's the real one, since he claims to have shot down a Malaysian Airlines flight.
• Take That!:
  • In the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza segment of Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps, when Dennis is inspecting the animatronics, Dacoobers states that "we'll reiterate on the design and make it unnecessarily sexual", referencing a common criticism of the redesigns of the animatrionics in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
  • In We play Left 4 Dead but it's cursed, Dennis describes Synthwave as "that dumb aesthetic that depressed guys in their 20s are into."
  • In My viewers sent me Gmod maps but they're cursed, Dacoobers states that he thinks deep-dish pizza is disgusting on the grounds that it's more like a casserole than a pizza.
  • In the Left 4 Dead 2 Glubtastic videos, Dacoobers makes jokes about MCU characters making jokes during real-world tragedies such as 9/11, referencing a common criticism of the franchise's signature Casual Danger Dialogue:
  Dacoobers (as Iron Man): "Man, it looks like our plane crashed and burned!"
  • In 'We found a worse Left 4 Dead 2 Map'':
  Dacoobers: We noticed a building, a building only present in a barren, cursed, godless region of the Earth. We realized that we were in Hell itself.
  Matt: You guys see this? It's a British map, Tesco's, man?
• That Came Out Wrong: In Playing Bad Gmod Horror Maps:
  Dennis: I'm a courageous freedom fighter for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, helping-
  Dacoobers: I'm gonna cut it where you said "Confederacy".
• Video Game Perversity Potential: In Left 4 Dead 2 but every time we die we install more mods, one of the mods installed changes Dacoobers' playermodel to a skimpy Dead or Alive model, which contrasts greatly with Coach's deep voice.
