- Edd Again ends with Ringo dreaming about being stuck outside in the cold, only to be let back in the house by Edd. Awww.
- The trio entering the Desire Room in Space Face. What does Edd turn out to want the most? A felt-tip pen so he can have fun drawing stuff. Considering this was the final toon where the character was (for the most part) voiced by the real Edd Gould, it winds up being a very appropriate, heartfelt send-off: a tribute to Mr. Gould and a celebration of his life, who he was, and what he did. The upbeat, cheerful music only adds to the effect.
- Or, an another way to interpret the scene, as this was one of the last scenes that Edd had personally animated, one could say that this was Edd's way of saying goodbye to everyone in an heartfelt way. Either way's good.
- Edd (creator/animator/his Author Avatar's voice actor) has passed away, so the series will die? Nope, it will be continued by his real life friends (Thomas Ridgewell (Tom's VA and asdfmovie creator) as head writer and producer and Paul ter Voorde as animator).
- Even though Tom's stepping down as showrunner after all the crap thrust on him by the job (and his perceived failure at it) and the trauma of Edd's death, Edd's mum will keep her son's world spinning.
- Every episode since Edd's passing has a dedication in the end credits that simply says:Dedicated to Edd Gould
- Doubling as an Awesome Moment: When Edd kills one of his clones in "Spares", the other clones immediately Zerg Rush him and look ready to rip him apart...then we see a gunshot and two of the clones drop dead. Edd looks up to see the real Matt, Tord and Tom standing there, smirking. They may have their disagreements, but when push comes to shove it's clear that the boys really do care about each other.
- "Fun Dead" has a somewhat twisted version of this trope; while Edd is waiting in line for a ride, there's a hapless bystander who gets mauled by a zombie, which ends up eating his legs...which devastates him because it makes him too short to ride the coaster. Later, one of the man's arms falls off, and Edd puts it in the coaster due to misinterpreting the "Keep all arms and legs inside the ride" announcement. As Edd and the guy's arm ride, said arm gives a thumbs up with Edd while they get photographed...and we can see the arm's somehow still alive owner smiling happily at the photo before the zombie returns to put him out of his misery.
- Matt apparently intends to name his cymbal banging monkey after Tom.
- Edd apologizing to Eduardo in "PowerEdd" after realizing that Eduardo hates him due to an incident in their childhood; even Eduardo was amazed. And Eduardo returns the favor when Monster!Tom attacks.Eduardo: Any Last Words?
Edd: I'm sorry...
Eduardo: Yeah-! What?
Edd: You did deserve first place; my drawing sucked!
Eduardo: Wow. I... uh...
(Monster Tom attacks and comes for Eduardo.)
Edd: (jumping in before he takes the hit) Watch out!
(Monster Tom smacks Edd, who powers down.)
Eduardo: (charging a Kamehame Hadoken beam) NO ONE HITS MY NEIGHBOR BUT ME! - At the end of "The End (Part 2)", it's revealed that following the destruction of the house, Edd and Matt moved into the same apartment complex Tom moved into. And since Tom's was too small for the three of them, Edd and Matt just got apartments on the same floor as him, next door.
- These posts reveal that Edd's milkman survived his suicide attempt and is (mostly) recovering.
- After a very long hiatus from Eddsworld, a new episode was uploaded. Matt has taken over as the showrunner, and while the episode is pretty much just plain funny, the very last thing shown in the credits makes it clear, just in case anyone had any doubts. It may have taken a bit of time, but Eddsworld continues to spin.WE'RE BACK
- Edd's new voice actor for the Eddsworld Beyond era in none other than George Gould, Edd Gould's real life brother. Many have noted how heartwarming it is that he's continuing the role his late brother originated.George: Sorry, what? You don't want me to audition?
Matt: No need, this just makes sense.
George: Well, if you're sure.
Matt: That okay with you, Edd?
Edd: (in George's voice) Yeah, whatever.
Matt: See? You've already started. - A small one, but in "The Beaster Bunny", the debut episode for Tom's new voice actor, Ed Templer, Edd watches Tom's car explode and quips "I'm gonna miss Tom's car" in an inflection that, as many fans noted, sounds very much like "I'm gonna miss TomSka". A sweet and funny little farewell to Thomas Ridgewell after he left the show. Meanwhile, Templer has by and large been getting a lot of support from the fans.
- In "WTFuture", Tord Larsson returned for a brief cameo to re-record a line from "Zombeh Attack" (one that was not originally recorded by him) when Future Edd transports back to that episode. Larsson was given a special thanks in the credits for this.
