  • Why is "Welcome to the New World!" in a made-up language, but the lab announcement isn't? Did the original inhabitants of the world switch language at some point?
    • Before the Dream Discoveries Tour voice begins, an automated voice detects the language being used by the player and uses the corresponding voice, which is its own can of lore worms due to possibly breaking the 4th wall, but logically Welcome to the New World is just the untranslated version of the song due to lacking an AI to actually do so. A possible reason the DDT translates in the first place is that there may be other areas of the New World that use their own made-up language, or even a real one, as we only explore two continents in-game.
  • What is the deal with Morpho Knight? Is it The Grim Reaper who only absorbs those who should have died long ago, or is it like The Spectre, only punishing those who deserve it? If either of these are the case, why does it fight Kirby? Or is it actually just a Power Parasite who feeds on the most powerful?
  • Where did the New World's people really go? During Leongar's pre-fight dialogue, he mentions that the New World's people used the knowledge and technology gained from researching Fecto Elfilis (or "were granted a miraculous power" in his words) to "enter a land of dreams." This could imply that they now live in Dream Land, but due to Dream Land having a minority of human/human-like characters who would logically be connected to the New World's culture, and a lack of major technology or other signs of the New World population being or having once been there, this doesn't seem likely. If he meant "a better world" in general, it's just strange to say it in such a way that correlates so well with an existing location.
    • Worth noting that the location Kirby's from, Dream Land, is just called "Pupupuland" in the original Japanese. It doesn't have anything to do with dreams. Leongar is probably talking about some kind of dream-like paradise that hasn't been seen... at least, not yet. Or, they might have ended up in Forgo Dreams instead, considering that it's a literal "land of dreams".
  • Were the New World's people actually human, simply human-like (think the species of the Haltmann family and Three Mage Sisters), or something else?
  • What's the Final Boss's actual real name? Is it Fecto, Forgo, Elfilis, Fecto Forgo, or Fecto Elfilis?
    • It seems like “Elfilis” is the name of the original being, and “Forgo” is the name of the incomplete form left behind when Elfilin split off. Notably, “Fecto” may come from "perfect". So, Fecto Forgo is a “perfect” Forgo, still without Elfilin but using the other beasts to make up the difference. Fecto Elfilis is the re-combined original form. And Chaos Elfilis is Forgo using the Elfilis form through the chaotic combination of Morpho Knight and Leon’s soul. Hence why the possessed Dedede is called Forgo Dedede, and why the bait and switch boss is called “Soul Forgo” when it’s still in an imperfect shape.
    • In Japanese/Chinese/Korean, the original being was Fecto Elfilis, which split into two beings — "Fecto Elfilin" (Elfilis's love for all beings turned into a tiny Made of Good creature) and "Fecto Forgo" (everything else) — during the Warp Experiment Incident. "Forgo Dedede" has nothing to do with the Fecto duo, he's called "Wild Dedede" in the same way that Bonkers became "Wild Bonkers" instead of "Forgo Bonkers".
  • If their leader is a lion, why aren’t the Beast Pack called the Beast Pride? The foot soldiers are dogs but why would the whole team be named after them?
    • In the Japanese version, they were called the Beast Gundan (軍団 - "army corps"), which gives them more of a military vibe. The "Pack" thing was added in localization, probably because they don't really act like an army either.
  • Why were a lot of Dream Land's other mooks brainwashed but the Waddle Dees weren't? The mini-bosses have beast-like uniforms (similar to how a lot of them had robotic-like builds in Planet Robobot), but the mooks just look like they're wearing their normal everyday attire. Some of these mooks were humanoid too, so how exactly did they join the Beast Pack?
    • Well it's entirely possible some of them just really don't like Kirby (the fiends!)
    • Waddle Dees might be strong-willed like Meta Knight, despite having weak physical bodies.
    • It's likely that there was no need to brainwash the Waddle Dees if they were solely going to be used as slave labour and it would be a waste of valuable energy to do so.
