• David and his coworkers' performance of "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)" at the sports bar being interrupted by simultaneous calls from their respective wives, to which they quickly respond that they are still in office before resuming the song.
• The season 1 finale has Max and Zoey's hook-up interrupted by him breaking into "All of Me". Zoey puts her hand on Max's mouth to cut the song and asks him to think of something sexier... a decision she immediately regrets when Max changes the tune to "I Know You Want Me", hilariously bad sexy-dancing included.
• And on season 2, when they are going to have sex, Max tries to block the heart-songs with "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". It still doesn't work.
