All spoilers are unmarked, as per wiki policy. You Have Been Warned!

    Main Game
  • A lot of the characters' remarks during the races, given their heavy snarkiness. Honorable mentions include:
    • Most of E-123 Omega's lines due to his Robo Speak. For example:
      • He frequently shouts "Expletive! Exercise caution!" after being hit or crashing into something. He also gives us "Wall versus robot. Wall wins." and "Pain sensors activated. Ow."
      • He taunts other racers when he attacks them or vice versa, such as "Statement: Tails, you bite", "Reclassifying Silver as a doofus", "Observation: Eggman is an easy target", and "Noted: Chao is little and vicious."
    • If Shadow gets stuck driving on grass roads, expect him to complain that "The grass was in the way".
    • If Sonic goes through a water hazard his response is "Water way to go!" ...But his tone makes it clear he instantly regrets doing it.
    • One of Blaze's lines towards Shadow: "You're not perfect, Shadow. I am." In other words, she just roasted the Ultimate Life Form.
    • Zavok's new voice actor channeling a certain British vampire for each of his lines. You can just tell he's having fun with the role.
    • All of Tails' lines. Heck, he's even snarkier in this game than Sonic is!
    • This interaction if Blaze hits Silver with a Wisp:
      Silver: (horrified) BLAZE! WHY?!
Blaze: (not very sincerely) Sorry, Silver.
    • Eggman's reaction if Sonic hits him with a Wisp is to ask what he ever did to him. And you thought his "How'd you get here so quickly?!" quote was lame...
  • While the rest of their reasoning is completely sound, Amy and Blaze distrusting Dodon Pa for being a tanuki comes across as hilariously blatant racial profiling (especially since Blaze knows and IS friends with a tanuki girl).
  • On the topic of Amy and Blaze, their little banter in the story mode.
Amy: You do much driving Princess, or do you have a chauffeur?
Blaze: Are you mocking me, Amy? I will have you know driving is one of my many skills.
Amy: I hope so, I'd hate to make you look bad out there.
Blaze: Ha! Let's go see who ends up looking bad.
  • When Omochao explains the three types of vehicle to Amy, she compliments him on always being there with the exposition. Omochao agrees that's "kind of [his] thing".
  • When Silver asks Omochao for advice about a strange feeling that someone has been sneaking around spying on them, Omochao suggests watching the reactions of the crowds watching the races to see if they notice anything suspicious. Silver is visibly surprised that he came up with a good idea for this and thanks Omochao. Omochao however is less than happy with Silver's surprised response to this.
  • Sonic trash-talks Silver before a race, only for the latter's cheerful dorkiness to ruin the mood for him.
Sonic: I'm so gonna own you, Silver.
    Silver: (cheerfully) Okay.
Sonic: No, you're supposed to say, "In your dreams, Sonic."
Silver: (enthusiastically) In your dreams, Sonic.
Sonic: Too late. The moment's passed.
  • Dodon Pa remains cheerful and friendly throughout the entire story, up to and including when Dr. Eggman kidnaps him.
Dodon Pa: Hohohoho! Good news, person who kidnapped me!
  • Amy, as part of her argument that Dodon Pa is untrustworthy, points out that his laugh ("hohohoho") is only one "o" away from Eggman's ("ohohohoho").
  • Big's lines give the implication that when he successfully hits a racer with an item, it's by accident!

    Trailers
  • A live-action promo features a group of very familiar-looking shoppers at a supermarket with decorated shopping trolleys immediately race against each other over the last box of "Golden O's" cereal. Cue loads of crashing into displays and flinging food.
    • During the race, the Large-Ham Announcer plays with the Sonic Toaster and eats a disfigured Sonic ice cream bar.
    • A store worker who looks a lot like Eggman is accidentally hit during the race and drops a carton of eggs which causes a Big the Cat stand-in to crash.
    • The winner of the race is an old lady on a very slow mobility scooter.
    • When the winner proudly pays for the cereal box at the checkout, Takashi Iizuka is the manager/cashier and Jiraid the Completionist is next in line holding a bouquet.
    • At the checkout, there are ads for Finger Gunz.
