The Books

  • In The Deadly Past, Wach remarks that Bryce is starting to feel like part of the group because Sally is being rude to him and he's already developing a fatalistic attitude.
  • The reveal in Time Terror, that in the future, the gang is hailed as heroes...except for Sally, who is refereed to as "The Evil One", due to how many times she has gotten them in danger.
  • In The Wicked Cat Watch says he has beaten his computer at chess so much that it has turned against him and downloaded a Star Trek game so it can just destroy all of Watch's chess pieces.
  • In The Witch's Gift, Ann Templeton is leaving for good but wants to give the kids one last wish. Having dealt with many Jackass Genie types before, they are a bit worried but make a wish anyway they turn out the be partly right, while the wishes are real, they are also part of a complicated Secret Test of Character. At the end they have to give up their wishes, as otherwise they will likely ruin their friendship. When it's Sally's turn, she protests: "I see no reason to give up my wish. It hasn't corrupted me. I was corrupt to begin with", which almost sounds like a Mae West One-Liner.
  • Sally has a similar quip in "Aliens In The Sky"
Cindy:"My mother doesn't approve of gambling. She says it's immoral and disgusting"
Sally: "Those two words fit me nicely"

The Series

  • This crossover promo, in which The Hub acknowledges the reception of a certain other property on the channel.
  • In "Phone Fear", Ann is deeply displeased with having to go on a survival field trip. She has this to say about it:
Ann: (through gritted teeth) Moorpark, you are going to pay.
  • In The Howling Ghost, Adam tries to call the police, but they hang up. Sally finds that weird...because they usually let it go straight to voicemail.
  • The warped Christmas carols in The No-Ones.
  • In Critical Care, Sally finds a cat brain in a jar, and her reaction is to sadly say "Oh, Kitty!"
