Cindy finding out the deal with the ghost in the book of The Howling Ghost. The ghost turns out to be her grandmother, who stole Neil to replace her son and Cindy's father. After explaining to the ghost that her father got to live a full life, they share a hug.
Cindy and Watch share a nice moment in The Hidden Beast, where Watch says that no one has ever worried about him before, and that he never feels sad around the others.
In The Haunted Cave, Adam, Sally, and Cindy get trapped in a cave and Watch realizes he could lose them. This is what makes him realize how much he has grown to care about them, even though he often doesn't show strong emotion.
While the cat turns out to be evil, it is still weirdly sweet to see Sally being so nice to another creature in The Wicked Cat. She even says she likes having something to love.
In The Witch's Revenge, Watch says he wants Ann to heal his eyesight, and Sally tells him he's fine the way he is and apologizes for an earlier rude comment she made about his poor eyesight. At the end, Ann heals his eyes but tells him he looks better with his glasses on. Sally says that for once, she agrees with Ann.
In Creature in the Teacher Cindy tells Adam that she thinks he's the glue that holds the group together, and they share a cute little moment together.
