Funny moments on the Peanuts Untold comic strip:

First arc

  • Lila arrives to the neighborhood and greets Charlie Brown by name, prompting him to ask how she knows him.
Lila: How could I forget that round head, (Charlie Brown frowns) and the cute face on it? (Charlie Brown smiles and blushes)
  • Lila had the misfortune of arriving when Snoopy is in one of his World War I Flying Ace fantasies. He mistakes her for a "Lady American correspondent" and Charlie Brown for her captor, so he jumps in to "rescue" her.
Lila: (being dragged by Snoopy) Charlie Brown, what is going on?!
Charlie Brown: (still in a daze from Snoopy's attack) I'm afraid to tell her this is a normal day in the ol' neighborhood.
  • Snoopy drags Lila into Schroeder's house, right when Lucy's visiting him as usual. He knocks her away while dragging Lila, and she complains how it was a matter of time before [that stupid dog] would "girlnap" someone.
    Schroeder: (Aside Glance) "Girlnap"?
  • Linus comes running to tell Charlie Brown that Snoopy kidnapped a girl. Charlie Brown tries to assure him that she's not in danger, but...
Charlie Brown: Snoopy wouldn't dare to do anything that could hurt her.
    Linus: And the Flying Ace?
Charlie Brown: (Goes Oh, Crap!, and then runs off past Linus)
  • Charlie Brown accidentally bumps into Snoopy and Lila, knocking them both to the ground. Always the gentleman, he helps the girl up, and she rewards him with a kiss on the cheek, much to his joy, and to Snoopy's bemusement.
Snoopy: (thinking) What a gratitude! I do all the work and another gets the reward, good grief!
  • Snoopy leaves in a huff at being "rejected", prompting Lila to ask if he's fine. Charlie Brown assures her he's simply Not Good with Rejection... and then they realize they're still Holding Hands, prompting them to blush at each other.
  • The arc ends with Lila telling Charlie Brown how happy she is for moving next door to him, prompting them to blush again. Then Sally gives her two cents:
    "KISS HER, YOU BLOCKHEAD!"

Second arc

  • Lila goes to Charlie Brown's mailbox to deliver a Valentine's Day card. She finds him hiding inside the mailbox.
  • Charlie Brown then rants to Lila how every year Snoopy and Woodstock get Valentines by the hundreds, and he gets nothing but a broken heart.
Charlie Brown: But not anymore! In fact, I hope not to have a Valentine this year!
Lila: (Walking away) It's sad, Charlie Brown. I had this Valentine for you but if you don't want Valentines, I'm going to give it to Snoopy.
    Charlie Brown: NO, WAIT!!
  • Obviously, Charlie Brown is overjoyed to get her first V-Day card ever, and Lila is happy to give it to him. Except...
Charlie Brown: Lila, you can let it go.
Lila: (blushing) Sorry, but I'm very nervous. This is the first Valentine I give to someone.
  • Snoopy and Woodstock come carrying a bunch of V-Day cards, and then he spots Lila giving Charlie Brown the real Valentine she wanted to give him. He's shocked that he only got cards while Charlie Brown got a kiss.
  • Charlie Brown faints in joy at Lila's kiss, who finds it sweet. But, Sally comes up to spoil the moment.
Sally: I saw all what happened! (drags Lila) You really need to be fixed.
(Next panel, they're at Lucy's psychiatric help booth)
Lucy: SHE WHAT?!! Sorry, but that is beyond my specialty.
  • Lucy is shocked that someone in her right mind would want to kiss Charlie Brown and Sally agrees. Lila innocently asks them if they've ever kissed a guy who doesn't run away when they do.
Lucy & Sally: (Walking away with their heads low) She defeated us with the facts.

Third arc

  • The baseball season is about to begin, and Charlie Brown is waiting at the pitcher's mound, depressed as usual. When he tells Lila about it, she asks why he doesn't play something that doesn't make him feel depressed.
Charlie Brown: I haven't found that kind of game.
  • Lila asks Charlie Brown if she could do something for him so he doesn't feel depressed. Charlie Brown suggests she might join the baseball team.
Lila: Then we have a big problem... I know nothing about baseball.
  • Charlie Brown offers to coach Lila to teach her everything she needs to know about the sport. Naturally, Lucy comes up and asks what did she do to deserve such cruel punishment. Charlie Brown gets mad:
Charlie Brown: (angrily sending Lucy spinning backwards) GET BACK ON THE RIGHT FIELD WHERE YOU BELONG!
Lucy: You can't talk to me like that until the day after tomorrow, Charlie Brown!
  • The baseball training goes as well as could be expected. First, Charlie Brown misses hitting the ball with the bat, making Lila ask if that's what they call a "strike". Then, when he pitches the ball at her, she misses too, making Charlie Brown remark that, indeed, she was paying attention to him.
  • Lila suggests that, if they want to improve, they'll need to be trained by somebody better than them. Cue Snoopy volunteering as a "world famous baseball coach" who swears he'll get them in shape and they'll be "sweating victory".
  • Not even Lila gets spared from being yelled at by Snoopy during training.
Charlie Brown: He doesn't tolerate failures from anyone.
  • After some more Training from Hell, Snoopy gives the "rookies" five minutes to rest. While lying on the ground, this exchange ensues:
Lila: Charlie Brown, why don't you have a normal dog like everybody else?
(Beat panel with Charlie Brown looking up)
  • At the end of the day, Lila says goodbye to Snoopy with a hug, and to Charlie Brown with a kiss. Later, Charlie Brown is left pondering on Lila saying that she's his girlfriend, and Snoopy somehow overhears it all the way at his dog house.
