- It's revealed that when they were kids, Donald and Violet tried to bake cookies in the night and woke their parents up with the smoke alarm.
- Pebble sneezes so hard he stretches out and knocks Wren's cereal over.
- Pebble and Wren are playing astronaut and Phil, who is reading, half-heartedly pretends to be an alien. Wren asks if they've encountered the alien horde, and Pebble says, "I think we have discovered the alien bored".
- Pebble thinks the toilet is literally running.
- Wren brings up a "does a falling tree that no one hears make a sound?" question. Pebble points out that sound is its own thing, and there are trees around. When Wren says trees "don't count", Pebble takes this to mean they can't do math.
