Funny / Merlin (1998)

• As Mordred lies on the battlefield, mortally wounded, Mab comes to say goodbye. There is this priceless exchange.
  Mab: Don't die, Mordred.
  Mordred: Die, dear Auntie Mab? That's the last thing I shall do. [dies]
• Shortly after Morgan le Fay dies, Mordred comments, "She sleeps alone, at last..."
• Ambrosia chewing Mab out for letting Merlin's mother die.
  Ambrosia: What's your excuse? Why didn't you save her?
  Mab: [shrugs] She'd served her purpose.
  Ambrosia: [outraged] "Served her-?!" You are so cold, if I were to punch you in the heart, I'd break my fist!
• The second time we see Vortigern's castle under construction collapse.
  Architect: The foundations are as strong as-
  [The camera shifts to Vortigern's face, we hear the castle fall and see rocks tumble down the cliff in the background, and Vortigern's suppressed rage.]
  Vortigern: [Death Glare] ...You were saying?
• Mab and Frik arriving at Tintagel Castle... by smashing the door down.
  Mab: We thought we'd come in the traditional way, through the door.
  Merlin: It's traditional to open it first.
• Frik's reaction to Mab insulting him when he brings Merlin to her for their final battle.
  Mab: Why are you consorting with that traitor?!
  Frik: Madam! After all my years of loyal service! I mean, that's rather harsh!
  Mab: Not as harsh as I am going to be!
  Frik: Sorry, can't stay! [Frik runs out the room]
