- The Camera Abuse from Kirby: Triple Deluxe returns, and this time the Robobot Armor gets in on the fun.
- It's even funnier when it happens to Meta Knight, whose expression doesn't change at all despite slamming into the screen at high velocity, and almost looks like he's giving an unimpressed look at the player as he falls. He does make a comically pained groan as he falls, though.
- Even the HALBERD gets in on the fun, if you get hit by either Star Dream's chomping pocket watch attack or its inhale attack. And yes, it does do a Glass Smack and Slide.
- It can also happen in reverse if you get whacked by something coming from the foreground, causing Kirby (or Meta Knight) to become A Twinkle in the Sky.
- "The Noble Haltmann" can be a Crowning Song of Funny, as some of the lyrics are just plain ridiculous. To say nothing of how it sounds like a freakin' church hymn singing Haltmann's praises... just how ridiculously big is that guy's ego?
- The silliest part of the song is probably this:
Pay and ergonomic seatingPay and ergonomic seating- In the video, we also get the President waving his arms like he's trying to be a conductor.
- Susie's line about how she will "take matters into my own extremities!".
- Any time Susie makes a remotely sophisticated remark, then goes on to lament how Kirby doesn't even understand it. Cut to Kirby's confused reaction.
- Some of the 2.0 boss bios say some interesting things about the HWC.
- Clanky Woods 2.0: Clanky Woods has been redesigned and upgraded. Better fuel efficiency and fewer emissions demonstrate the company's new environmentally friendly initiative. It costs only half of the previous model!
- Dedede Cl. & D3 2.0: This Tridimensional cannon is extremely expensive, costing a whopping four times more than Mecha Knight. However, it's still cheaper than Haltmann's Executive Suit, which is made of pure gold.
- Dedede Clone 2.0: It has the look and voice of King Dedede, but not his soul. Some things can't be cloned. Some of the trial models were only interested in food, some were fearful of a certain insect, and all were imperfect.
- Two of the stickers (King Dedede and Kirby Doodles) used to customize Kirby's Robobot Armor are taken straight from Dedede: Comin' at Ya!. "OH COME NOW, LIDDLE OL' ME A HERO? SURELY YOU JESTIN'!"
- It's also been expanded into a full series of "Doodle Characters" and includes Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee, Waddle Doo, Daroach, and Taranza.
- Imagine clearing a stage, seeing all the stickers you collected, and suddenly this appears without you knowing it exists.◊ If you aren't aware of the sticker's existence, this is one of the funniest experiences you can have in this case.
- Customising the Robobot Armour with stickers has them remain visible in-game, including in the cutscenes. Watch the epic moment where Kirby suits up or absorbs the Halberd and behold the crummy doodle stickers proudly on display in full view of the camera.
- One of Haltmann's attacks during his boss battle is to shoot money at Kirby. While it's mostly harmless (the bills he shoots just obscure the screen), the absurdity of the attack is still chuckle-worthy.
- For all of its deadly antics, this comment from Star Dream when it's summoning Galacta Knight is hilariously casual:"He may end up destroying a nearby planet or two, but such is life."
- And what's the first thing Galacta Knight does? He slices a huge gash into Star Dream for his troubles.
- By this point, Meta Knight is completely unfazed by the sudden Unfriendly Fire directed towards Star Dream. That's what you get for bringing the subject up in the first place. No thank you, but instead a screw you.
- And what's the first thing Galacta Knight does? He slices a huge gash into Star Dream for his troubles.
- While it's a carryover from Kirby's Return to Dream Land, while playing as Meta Knight in Meta Knightmare Returns, seeing him splashing around on the surface of water in a purple inner tube and wearing a scuba mask on top of his regular mask when underwater is pretty hilarious, given that he's... ya know, a cool masked swordsman with demon wings.
- He also makes a peculiar "Hmph" noise after beating a boss, almost as if he's disappointed by them not really putting up a fight. For bonus points, his vocalisations make him sound like he still has his Dashing Hispanic accent from the English dub of the anime.
- Another fun bit from Meta Knight's game mode: the reason it's up to him to save Pop Star? Kirby is busy napping.
- Also, he can be subjected to all the slapstick-y injuries Kirby can have. Aside from the Camera Abuse above, he can be completely flattened by heavy objects, and squash-and-stretching after hitting a wall from being fired out of a cannon. Yet, his stoicism never changes despite all that; almost as if it's just another day at the office for him.
- In a way, the Halberd's first appearance in the game's intro is hilarious. The Access Ark shows up and Meta Knight looks pissed. He rallies his crew, and launches the Halberd, riding it as the music swells heroically...and he immediately gets shot down. Again.
- Despite what people believe, there actually is a way to stay in the line of fire of Star Dream Soul OS's desperation ring attack and not take any damagenote : By gaining an ability. Yes, one of the most notoriously hard-to-avoid and high-damaging attacks in the entire series can be completely nullified...by Kirby eating something.
- One of the rare golden Stone transformations is Ultra Sword Kirby wielding a (sword)fish.
