Funny / Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Go To

  • Khushnood mistaking Tizoc for a giant chicken, and wanting to eat him.
  • Any time Hokutomaru accidentally blows himself up in his intro or win poses.
  • Playing projectile tennis with Hotaru's reflectors in mirror matches.
  • One of Hotaru's secret post-match taunts has her summoning her Weasel Mascot to drop down from the top of the stage and landing on her fallen opponent. The other secret taunt has her Blowing a Raspberry, showing that she's not quite as mature as she presents herself to be.
  • SNK's taste in naming characters in this game can be questionable and generates laughter instead:
    • Marco Rodriguez, a perfectly normal name, is localized into Khushnood Butt. The character select screen addresses him by his surname so the first thing you see when selecting him is "BUTT" in giant letters.
    • Dong Hwan has also gotten plenty of immature laughs from English-speaking players.
  • The reward for pulling off B. Jenet's Ennui Mademoiselle? Watching her go ham and beat the shit out of the opponent with her stiletto! Just imagine using this on Grant or especially Kain!
  • On the Player Select screen, the Versus Character Splash portrait for B. Jenet makes it look like she's being flirtatious with her opponent, as it features her winking while blowing a kiss. Portraits for some of the other characters are quite fitting when opposite of B. Jenet's, namely Rock and Dong Hwan. Both look confident in their portraits, but with B. Jenet as their opponent, it's as though they're also smitten by her gestures.
  • Hotaru's Tenshou Ranki has the unfortunate side effect of resembling something rather sensual, especially if you use the Heavy version, and especially if used on Rock. To add insult to injury, in some home ports of Garou during training mode, the Heavy version does exactly 69 damage (nice!)
