Even crack fics can have these moments. And the best part is, that since each chapter is its own story which does not take any of the others into account, all of the examples below are unintentional.
- An early chapter has Sasaki's mother address her as Sasaki when Sasaki is obviously her surname. Then Chapter 84 rolls around, and Sasaki reveals that her given name, which she hates, is Zelda. She hates her Embarrassing First Name so much that she's got her parents on a Last-Name Basis with her!
- Also in Chapter 84, when Imouto and Miyoko come across Kuyou trapped in a cardboard box, Miyoko wants to free her and has to be talked out of it by Imouto. According to Word of God, this fic's incarnation of Miyoko is a Nightmare Fetishist. She knew what could happen if Kuyou were released, and likes the idea.
- You know how in the anniversary chapter Mikuru tries to kill Fujiwara via Marshmallow Hell? Well, the thing is, Fujiwara is her brother. Oh... my... God.
