Fridge Logic:
- Sometimes Green River County Detention Center seems to be portrayed as a jail (Dean and Sam are held there before sentencing and the jackets say "County Jail"). However, it also seems to function as a prison with some of the inmates serving terms longer than a year (like Moody and Randall), and Deacon refers to it as "his prison".
- In "The Benders" (S01, Ep15), the police records list both Sam and Dean's height as 6 feet 4 inches. In "The Usual Suspects" (S02, Ep07), Dean's height is listed as 6 feet 1 inch in his police record. In this episode when they are getting their mugshots taken, Dean is at the 6 foot 3 inch line and Sam seems just above the 6 feet 5 inch line. Jared Padalecki's IMDB entry
puts his height at 6 feet 4 1/2 inches. Jensen Ackles's IMDB entry puts his height at 6 feet 1 1/4 inches. - Dean does not ask for a lawyer, but a public defender arrives during his interrogation.
- The cell bars and doors are likely made of steel or iron. We have previously seen that iron repels ghosts, but this ghost has no trouble getting into cells.
- Almost all of the inmates are white, despite the fact that according to the 2000 census, 45% of the Arkansas inmate population is black and 53% is white.
